Hotel 1900 @ Chinatown

It's super clean and is smack dab in the middle of Chinatown so you can walk or take the train or get food very easily at this hotel.

By Western standards this is an extremely small room. A larger room would have been wonderful for two people but the size was listed on the site so you can't really complain about it.

The only thing I liked was the location of this hotel

The size of the room was a joke. I thought I booked a room with a window but didnt get one. It was so small I had no where to sit or store anything. It was just awful.

If you want Chinatown

Very small room it¿s not even a whole room! Dirty open vent to outside hot and humid weather, NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE. It said online there was. No potable water and only one bottle per person per day. For hot water kettle-nothing. No sheets changed ever

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Clean hotel.

Room was too small but other than that it was good

The location is really good in Chinatown and close to a subway station. If I have a chance to go back to Singapore I will go back to this hotel.

I didn't get the room reserved the first night but got another one the next morning. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.

Great location. Guest can easily get to anywhere via MRT, buses and abundant others interesting places.

I was charged before arriving instead of paying upon arival...my credit card was charged a few days prior to my arrival date.

The room is small but cute design. Designer really know how to maximise the space usage.

1) The aircond blow directly against the bedhead. We have to sleep in the other way. 2) Not enough hook to hang our clothing as we stayed for 4 nights. 3) Not enough towel hanger.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. I stayed there 2 nights. The hotel is expanding and under reconstruction. First night my room was directly adjacent to the part under reconstruction and it was no fun to wake up 9 o'clock in the morning by the sound of a demolition Hammer as when it's in your room. When checking in I was told that there might be slight noises..... Har har har. For the 2nd night I was moved to another room and this was quiet and nice. The rooms are small (very small) but with excellent beds and brand new bathrooms, TV etc. As option you can choose a slightly bigger room. There is compliment water, coffee and tea along with a water boiler. Location is 5 min walk from MRT Chinatown, in the street are loads of restaurants. Even Bayfront with Marina Sands and the wonderful Gardens is just 27min by MRT or 32 min by walking. I decided to walk. I would definitely come back to this place.

Noise since house is under reconstruction. But this will be oder by end of May (as I've been told)

Air con not cold, room smell of fresh paint, ants, check out take some time

Hotel manager was accomodating. After first night, room facing front of street was too noisy and we did not sleep too well, window was not sound proof!As we intend to stay two more nights, made a complaint to the manager who took immediate action and moved us to an inner room with a different and bigger layout. It was a new wing of the hotel and room was satisfactory; clean, bigger, very good shower and much quieter. We appreciated the "upgrade" room!

Room facing the front of the street was noisy and very compact.

cleanliness of room. the lights in the room are dim..you cannot really visibly see if its clean.funky carpet smell near the bathroom. i can literally hear someone making out.my son even said “mom its like someone is singing” ?

Location is great

I had a cockroach in my bathroom and then in the morning I had ants in the bed,even got bitten,so not so pleasant

The bed is really confortable, the shower was spacious and quite good and the location in Chinatown is pretty good.

The room is really small with space just for the bed, and no garderobe. The shower curtain was really dirty and needs changing. The was a background noise that makes you feel as If you were in an aircraft all the time.

It had a door that shut behind me.

It’s a weird little hotel. (302) The windows were either partially or fully obscured. I’m glad that I brought my extra long phone cord because the only electrical outlets were by the door. Check out was 8am. I learned this when they called the room phone at 8:02. They said that it was part of the special price I got. I was like What special price?

It is more like a 2-star hotel. Small and old amenities of the room without window.
