Hotel Soloha @ Chinatown

Great location, good value for the cost.

Location was in a lovely part of Chinatown

We requested a change of room due to our first room having street view/noise throughout the evening. Second room on higher level and facing the back of the building was fine

Great location- minutes from Chinatown, 7-11, MRT station, hawker center for inexpensive food and drink. Good wifi. Imaginative use of space (small fridge under bed). Large TV with mirroring function (android only)

Very small room. Noise from vibrant nightlife outside and passing MRT (can hear and feel)

Location was perfect (metro only a 8 minute walk and grab to marina bay sands approx $10). The room was comfortable for a smaller size, also provided with bottled water daily.

Shower could have been cleaner (specifically shower curtain). There was also a spilled drink in the pull down table, luckily I carry travel detol wipes.

Superb location , very comfortable bed, excellent shower. Lots of nice touches, like a makeup mirror, fridge under the bed. Nice staff who responded to queries

So small had to take it in turns to pack the bags.

Loved the free water and that the shower was at perfect temperature within seconds. Location was perfect, close to Maxwell hawker centre with amazing food!

The room was definitely heaps smaller than we expected. We're relatively tall and if you're above 1.78cm you'll probably struggle closing the door for the toilet. The sliding door covers the toilet and shower so you can't do both at the same time. The dividing walls made of relatively see-through glass don't go all the way to the ceiling, meaning you can hear everything. It's a very "cozy" experience ?

The room is small. And some facilities within the room is not well maintained. There is faulty wardrobe and water leakage

Very little - the room was very small & closterphobic with no where to put suitcases or even sit only on the bed if you could manoeuvre your body - nothing like the information on your website hence I will not be using Booking Dot Com again.

It was not as described in your information and a totally overpriced pig pen

The rooms have an interesting design and amenities I did not expect.

Rooms are not designed for big suitcases. Everything is super compact (including the toilet)

Amazing hotel and very easy accessible by public transport. Rooms are really nice and there is a 7 eleven around the corner. We traveled with 2 young kids and they loved the bunk bed solution

The room was good. Clean, enough space for one person, good supplies like shower cap, slippers, and clean room in general. The stuff was extra helpful and super nice. Location is great, easy access and great food around both Michelin stars and local food.

I stayed in a loft and the stairs was extremely steep. Don’t book this room if you have kids, or with senior people. It’s actually quite scary at night, if you need to go to the toilet.

The location was perfect. Very close and nice walking distance from the subway, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The shower was nice. Great adjustable temperature. Same goes for the airconditioning. Also flip flops, coffee, tea, comb was provided.

The room was pretty horrible. We knew it would be small. But even while sitting on the toilet we weren’t able to close the door due to lack of space. The beds were very small. We didn’t have a window (which we knew in advance), but not even a little light of day was to be found anywhere on the floor we were on. The bed was very small. For an international city you would be expecting at least a queen size bed, but this was below expectations… we are getting hot while sleeping quickly, so the easy working airconditioning made up for that. The price was very high. We did pay more for this accommodation due to the Formula 1 weekend, but it was still too high for what we’ve got… I would never pay more for this hotel while visiting the Grand Prix… otherwise I’d consider it, but with a maximum stay of 2 nights… We also think the lobby and bar was very much below expectations… the pictures seem too look much better. I was wondering if there even was a lobby and bar… no drinks or food to be found anywhere…There was a staff member who was pretty unclear while helping us during the check-in. We were not able to understand his instructions clearly. The rest of the staff was okay, however they never greeted while going in or out… a receptionist should at least be doing that….

Very good location, easy to get around. The rooms are as per shown in pictures. The staff were very helpful and kind.

We could hear people outside the room and in the rooms next door to us.

Location was exceptional- the building was beautiful and well stocked with what we needed. The loft bed was fantastic for our teenager, I wouldn’t put young children up there as the steps were so steep. Both were comfortable beds. Two sinks so not reliant on bathroom sink for hand washing or kettle. The view from the gorgeous old window were lovely

It was so cramped -nowhere to put luggage so you could easily access it. There was space under the bed.The shower drain did not flow and water was everywhere. Air conditioning did not get cold enough and did not get in to where the lower bed was. There was no hand soap for hand washing at either basin.The toilet was a very confined, uncomfortable space with knees bumping the wall.

The location was good, the room was clean and cozy. I've read that you could hear the subway beneath and noise from surrounding bars, while it is true it wasn't disruptive to my sleep as both the subway and bar closes after a certain time. I didn't think that it was a deal breaker. overall good experience.

The bed in my room (the loft) was a little too firm and not the most comfortable.

The location was great.Bed was comfortable.

Our shower leaked, and the tiles were mouldy. The room was exceptionally small. The pictures don't really show how tiny the rooms are. If you are tall you would be unable to close toilet door.

Not recommended

Bad customer service. Very very small and stuffy room. Did not allow visitors due to its strict and unreasonable ‘a room can only have 2 people at any time’ rule.
