(1) Hotel showers was very good and strong! (2) The room has a good amount of space. (3) Location is Great, with a bus stop just outside!

(1) When we are watching TV on the bed, the bed will roll away from the headboard. Because the wheels on the bed are not locked. This is very uncomfortable for us watching TV on the hotel bed. (2) Please allow your Smart TV to include "YouTube".

Cleanliness of room was unacceptable.Clogged wash sink, mold growth on some areas of shower tiles, inoperable safe,dusty corners in the closets. Cost of breakfast was too high for the quality/variety of buffet offered.Meals much cheaper nearby.

The location and staff were great. I expected more of the hotel in terms of its name. I think renovations and upgrades are necessary in terms of the hotel plumbing and bathroom facilities. Also, hotel rugs need to be shampooed to remove odor or replaced.

Yes, there should be free wifi and continental breakfast. I think $22 per person for breakfast is too much. Also, lobby needs a facelift. I'm not being too critical. Realistically, I strongly feel you should consider my input for improvement to impress.

Clean, location is good ,there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, the price is reasonable .

5 minute walk to Novena MRT and Novena Square Shopping Center. Family Room had a Queen bed and a single bed...Somewhat rare to find a room that sleeps 3 in Singapore. Very large rooms for Singapore. Large window.

Room smelled musty. Beds are very low to floor. WIFI allowed only 2 units to connect. Breakfast not free & if you want it, it's S$25.00 per person!

The room was big and spacious.

There was black mold all around the bathtub. The tub would not drain because it was plugged up with hair. The staff fixed the drain but did not disinfect the tub after cleaning out the gunk. They should learn about the amazing powers of bleach.

Service was excellent despite it being a busy holiday weekend. Convenient to transportation--bus stop in front of hotel (2 or 3 stops to Orchard Re) and an easy walk to MRT. Quiet area yet two sizeable malls with many restaurants near the MRT station.

Our room was being upgraded to suite with no extra charge when the staff realized one of the guest is wheelchair-bounded. The room is spacious, very suitable for care needed people.

athe hot water in bathroom doesn't come easy, needs to let water run for a long while and the stream is weak while taking shower.

Very good location, close to MRT, Newton food court, Novena station and mall. The pool was nice and refreshing. The communication via messages was timely and helpful.

It needed an upgrade because it was old. The reception staff was very friendly, however one member was sick and cleaned his drippy nose with his hand while he handled our passports.

The property is near the downtown, they have a bustop in front of the hotel. Mrt station is near too. The staf are very helpfull.

Accessibility to transportation, clean environment and descent surrounding. Staff are attentive to our requests and housekeeping is proactive. Room is clean and comfortable to sleep.

Extremely disappointing stay – definitely not a 4-star hotel

I stayed at Royal Hotel for one night and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. The hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality, it barely meets 2-star standards. The condition of the building and rooms was extremely worn-out and outdated — nothing like the photos shown online.One of the most shocking details was the receptionist’s appearance: his tie was visibly dirty and stained, which speaks volumes about the overall hygiene and professionalism. The breakfast was also unacceptable — the only edible items were a few cakes and pastries. No proper hot food, no variety, and very poor quality overall.Staff seemed tired and unmotivated. When we arrived by taxi, no one came to greet us or help with our luggage — not even a doorman in sight. We had to carry everything ourselves into the hotel, which added to the already negative impression.I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, service, or value for money. Definitely not worth the price or the star rating.

The staff was very nice and the room was always clean. No smoking in entire hotel was also a great option. Maybe its a Singapore thing. The pool was also okay.

The hotel assets are quite run down. Its visible everywhere, lift doors, room doors, bathroom facilities. Scratches, marks, dents, peeled off layers. Exterior wall in the pool area. Pool showers. Everything needs a giant overhaul. The A/C in my room was leaking water through the wardrobe. Its a nice building in a decent spot, so deserves that investment.
