A Hotel Joo Chiat

There were no windows in the room. You can hear people talking in the hallway, thin walls.

Outstanding location! 5-6 min walk to MRT & is surrounded by hundreds of shops, 2 malls & many local food courts. Wifi is great and breakfast is not provided BUT it is not needed - take a step outside and pick what you want to eat! Highly recommended!

TV Channels were limited to 12 but no big deal.

The room bed mattress is comfortable and the shower in the bathroom is excellent. Every corner inside the bedroom is clean and tidy. Also the staff is helpful when I need some info about where to take a city bus to the Vivocity for connecting Sentosa.

The distance between the toilet and the wall is too close which pose some difficulty of sitting on the toilet.

the toilet and mugs, cutlery were not cleaned. the hotel is near to karaoke's and clubs, so theres a noisy sound all night

Clean, comfortable, good location, no noise. Great street for jogging/running next to the Joo Chiat street. Clean shower, toilet. Clean up every day. Quick check in and check out.

1) I wish only I had the room with one bed, instead of a room with two beds, because I like when there is more space in a room. At the check in, they switched the room I ordered with that one.2) WiFi was too slow but it was enough for me at the time. Only about 20-35 mbits3) I don't particularly like lifts. If stairs were free of stuff I'd be using them.

They are accommodating to guests' needs. The location is advantageous since there are convenience stores and restaurants beside and around the hotel. Also, near to a bus station.

Interesting cultural location. Mix of old traditional shops and new fancy cafes. Not over touristy. Room bigger than most. Beds are comfortable

Hotel was changing ownership. But the signage outside the hotel still showed the previous trading name which was confusing. Repairs / maintenance was going on, and rubble was just left in corner of corridor of my initial floor. I was relocated to another floor and it was rubble free and the safe in the room was working.

This was a last minute booking so we arrived tired and very late at night. Thankfully, check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and had a nice balcony window. I loved my stay here. Definitely would recommend this hotel. Affordable and comfortable!

It’s a really affordable place (for Singapore) that’s well oriented to explore the city. Google Maps says it’s an 18 minute walk to the metro, but really it’s more like 8-10. We enjoyed our stay!

Rooms are on the small side, but overall it’s a place I’d stay again

We only stayed for one night at Champion Hotel. It is pretty far (about 15-minutes) from the hotel by taxi. The hotel is also very far away from the touristy areas in Singapore but it is in walking distance from an MRT station. Lots of good restaurants and Department Stores in the area.

The room had no windows for ventilation and smelled moldy. The staff wasn't very friendly upon check-in and hardly made eye contact. However, the lady upon check out, called a taxi for us and was a bit friendlier. Overall, we got our money's worth as we were just looking for a cheap hotel near the airport where we could see a bit of Singapore before heading home the next day.

Good location, attentive staff. Cleanliness met expectation but can be improved especially in the bathroom. Some sign of aging/ moldy area.

Only 1 bath towel provided. The floor matt and the face towel is not provided. One of the room provided is corner room with less space for the same price.

The bathroom has a urine smell. Toilet no bidet pipe and no floor mate to cover our foot when we used the hand basin. No hand and face towel also.
