Very clean room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Most comfortable mattress I slept on in 3 months in SEA (very firm mattress). Lots of places to walk to on Joo Chiat road. Anytime fitness 2 mins. Supermarket 4 mins. Plenty of food options right around.

Tiny room, but it is Singapore. It was fine but sitting on the bed to work got tiresome. A chair would be nice. But for the price and given the cost of real estate I cannot complain much.

The room was compact, clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials a traveler might need. I especially appreciated the app-enabled TV, which helped pass the time during quiet evenings. Given the reasonable room rate and the convenient location close to where I needed to be, I found little to complain about.Upon entering the hotel, I immediately felt a shift in atmosphere. The spacious lobby, adorned with cherry blossom motifs and vibrant, colorful walls, gave the impression of being transported to Japan. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, thanks to the friendly receptionist who greeted me warmly.Exploring the surrounding Joo Chiat area was a highlight. The neighborhood blends heritage charm with modern convenience, featuring rows of two-story shophouses and a wide variety of eateries from Chinese and Muslim to Thai cuisine all within walking distance.Thumbs up to Venue Hotel Sakura. I’ll definitely consider a return visit when the opportunity arises.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sakura by Venue. The staff were particularly impressive—when I had an issue with a noisy air‑conditioner in my original room, they swiftly arranged a change with a friendly attitude. The hotel’s location is excellent; it’s surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, which made exploring the local food scene easy and enjoyable.As some reviewers have noted, some rooms don’t have windows, but I found this to be no problem at all. The room I stayed in was clean, well‑lit and well‑ventilated, so it still felt comfortable and welcoming despite the lack of windows.Special thanks to Jedd & Ibrahim for their attentive service and warm hospitality. Their efforts made my stay memorable. I would happily return to Hotel Sakura by Venue and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

During my stay the ground floor was under maintenance. While there was no construction noise, the back‑side door of the hotel had been removed for the work and there didn’t seem to be any temporary security measures in place. This made the property feel less secure than usual. A bit more attention to security during maintenance periods would help guests feel more at ease.

Some guests came back late, after midnight, they just left door to close with a bang… annoying behavior

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and quiet enough to make sleep feel ceremonial rather than accidental. The bed struck that rare balance between supportive and indulgent, and housekeeping was consistently attentive without being intrusive.The staff truly elevated the experience. From check-in to checkout, everyone was warm, efficient, and genuinely helpful, offering recommendations and assistance with an ease that felt sincere rather than scripted.The location was another strong point, close to key attractions and dining, yet calm once inside. Amenities were well maintained and actually usable, not just decorative promises.

The room was comfortable overall, though there was some noise from the hallway and nearby rooms at times, which occasionally disrupted sleep.

Firstly, front desk staff ( Ibrahim) was fantastic. Seamless check-in and ever willing to go the distance to ensure my stay was good. The room was great- clean and spacious and finally, can’t beat the location!

Staff were all wonderful. I was allowed an early check-in at no cost.

Could not get my phone on the internet (computer was not a problem). Front desk person tried to help but was also unsuccessful

The staff were very helpfulWhen I checked in at 0200 on the 14 th of November the gentleman at the desk helped me to locate an extension cord for my CPAP machineWhen I checked out on the 20th Mr Jedd was very helpful and even arranged for a taxi to the airport at 0500. Staff like Jedd make the difference

Rooms in Singapore are a problem. This one was reasonably priced but tiny, & with no windows. Since we were barely there for 8 hours, it didn't really matter to us, but there was no table, no place for a computer, no chair, no windows, no breakfast & the elevator only went up 4 flores & our room was on the 5th, so we had to schlep our luggage up 1 flight of stairs. While it met expectations (just) it was also half an hour from the airport (by taxi)

If we were staying longer than just overnight, then windows, a desk, chairs, a slightly bigger room, & an elevator that went all the way to our floor would have improved things a lot.

Safe, clean ,and comfortable stay. Walking distance to different stores and bust stops.

There was a lot of mold in the bathroom, the bathroom was a mess. The bedroom was fine and clean.

Location

Beds were very hard. Shower took up entire bathroom. Very small rooms. Not enough room to open two suitcases on the floor. Thin walls and doors. Lobby traffic and neighbor TV kept us awake.

The location is great with many restaurants, however there are cigarette butts on the streets and very dirty. I was very surprised at how neglected Singapore is. furthermore, the locals are showing bad manners by crossing the streets without the corresponding light.

There is no shower curtain in the bathroom and it gets wet everywhere. the only chair was so low that it was very uncomfortable to work on my computer.
