Nice staff

Expensive and in a bad area

Not sure, we were just there to recover between 2 flights. Nothing glamorous but sufficient.

Not the most interesting part of Singapore in a street of 'massage' parlours if you will.

Location

Only one pillow per person. Super uncomfortable mattress.

The room is so clean and there is a window for a nice morning city view. Every towel is provided early morning every day. WIFI is strong. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We had a nice conversation with them. Location is also good. Overall, we had a good stay in the hotel. Definitely, we will go back in this hotel.

Lots of independent eating places.

The lift was absolutely dire even on the 8th floor, it dinged non stop day and night. Could even hear it even after the receptionist kindly swapped our room from next to lift to middle of corridor. Got very little sleep. Neighbours were noisy, early hours of the morning 3:30 to 4:30 am. Noisy and inconsiderate housekeepers shouting to each other early in the morning.Noticed the floor was grimy and unswept.

Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is handy for buses to main attractions.

Odd lack of hand wash and hand towels in bathroom. Location convenient to bus stops and food options but also in low key red light district.

Excellent staff , room and. facilities fine for a Singapore budget hotel.

I like how accessible the property is to bus stops. I like how clean and accommodating the staff is and they always keep our room clean.

The toilet in our room (210) don't flush properly. Sometimes you need to do it 2 times for it to flush properly. It was really a hassle.

Very helpful staff. Very clean, well furnished room. Not 100 percent sound proofed room.

Gelong is not the best area to walk for families.

Central location, worked well for a short stay, many food locations are close by.

No guidance about drinking water

The location was perfectbecause it was close to my relative and the area was clean and quiet. Nothing scary. There were also hawkers nearby.

We stayed only 5 hours during the transit for next day flight. Last time, room is so tiny, but this time room is much better. I hope they offer this size of room next time. Overall is ok. Only 5 hours overnight stay. Thank you.

The room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful.

The property is around the red district and is a bit far from the bus and MRT stations. No food stalls or convenience stores around the building as well. You need to walk a few meters to reach the main road where food stalls and other establishments are located.

Rooms are tiny but very clean. This is one of several Ibis Budget hotels in Singapore that were converted by Accor from the Hotel 81 chain, which sold rooms by the hour (!). In my view this is the nicest one and it has “Deluxe” rooms that are slightly nicer than the standard ones.

The cleaner is always cleaning and arranging our room.

It could have been better if the channels on the TV is watchable or it could have been at least a Smart TV that the guest has an option to login to watch in streaming service like Netflix during rest or downtime. A small personal refrigirator and microwave will also be good so that the guest can store and reheat foods.

Mattress was much to firm.

For a budget hotel, it had great facilities. TV with premier league football, coffee facilities, amazing water pressure in the shower.

The area is a bit seedy, it's on a red light district with lots of brothels nearby. We still felt safe and quite enjoyed the shady neighborhood. But it's not for everyone.
