Pros +
- Location was good, and staff was kind
- Friendly receptionists
- The only advantage of this place is its location. It is right in front of many points of interest such as Raohe Night Market, Songshan MRT and Train Station, Neihu, etc. Easy to find.
Cons -
- Not that good looking room as you see on website. windows was not clean even chairs are old and unstable inside room
- Smoke smell. Poor sound insulation
- There is a very strong musty smell in the hallway. The facilities are very old and neglected. I asked for a double room but two people barely fit in the same bed, and the counter staff was less than enthusiastic and willing to provide a solution. The curtains were not big enough to cover the window so the light creeps in.

Great location. Close to everything.
Not quite clean and smell not good. Basically you get what you paid so it doesn’t make much sense to have higher expectations since it has lower price.
Price was not too much.
The smell of smoke in the hallways usually can be smelled all the way into the room. Rooms are not cleaned daily? Difficult to locate because hotel is only a part of the whole building. Elevator of 8th floor can only be accessed going down through the 7th floor
Stayed here for 4 nights. Near night market and wufenku markets. Easy to explor around Taipei from this location. Hotel
・Location easy to find and close to Raohe Night Market.・Front desk agents speak very limited English words, but very helpful.・Drinking water dispenser at each floor.・Luggage storage service after check out time.・Power outlet right next to the bed.
・No mini fridge in the room.・Room light switch only located next to the bed, so it was a bit of struggle in the mid of pitch-black when entering the room for the first time after checking-in.
Affordable price. May seem out of the way, but it's really a short train ride to Taipei Main Station, Ximending, etc. Located close to Songshan Station, it's within walking distance to Wufenpu for cheap fashion and the popular Raohe night market! It's a good distance from the larger hubs, which allows for a more "local" experience, nighttime at Raohe market aside.
They do not clean your room and replace your towels each day. (However, if you point to the cart with the towels, the staff will give you an extra towel. The towels provided also have seen better days. One of my bath towels had a tiny hole in it.Room had chipped wood by the restroom door, which wouldn't even close properly. Rack for bath towels, etc. were also rusted, so I did not use them. Also, this may or may not be normal in Taiwan, but the tub does not have curtain, so you'll get the floor in front of the sink all wet after showering even if you're careful. The shelf on top of sink isn't the largest, but can fit a good amount of toiletries. Problem is, it is slightly slanted, so certain items might slide off it. Worst part of the experience were the tiny cockroaches. Three showed up during my four days even though it was early March. Although not foolproof, make sure to tie up your garbage bag each night if you have food wrappers/scraps in there. You'd probably have to bring your garbage can to the front desk if you want them to empty it before your last day. Fortunately, there are only two floors to the hotel. (The other floors are not part of Hotel Lee-Chan.) I'd also recommend zipping up your suitcase and bags when you're not using them.
Extremely strategic, within a 5 minute walk to Raohe Night Market , MRT and Train Station. The price is very affordable considering its strategic location, definitely a good budget choice for a hotel.
The Inside is very ordinary and old (they still use those grandma tube TVs, and I think it is somewhat cool considering most of them should be irreparable by now), my bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, I can see some dirty bits and hairs on the floor.
perfect location, friendly staff
too cold, the A/C is not working, room isn’t clean
good location, near MRT ,train, bus station. The price is lower than other nearby hotel. It is an old hotel, the furnitures in the room give us old days memories.
Great location. Close to subway and night-market.
Terrible smoking issues. Full of the smell of smoking.
Near Songshan Train Station and bus stops, Bank, Grocery, few steps to Raohe Night Market, PX Mart, and Mall. Convenient stores nearby. The staff are nice and helpful.
Small cockroaches in the room
1. very spacious2. 5 min walk to Raohe Night Market3. 5 min walk to the metro4. basic nesessities provided
1. The name is misleading - it's actually an "hourly hostel" rather than an ordinary hostel or hotel.2. Quite old3. No place to hang towel or clothes
overall average. low-budget commercial hotel (but still quite costly). near main-road (can take bus). nearby has night market (settled supper)
got small cockroach and the door gap is too big. use chair to block door. dont choose if u cannot stand with smoking smell.
Location is prefect, very close to the metro station and supermarkets. Also in close proximity to the Roahe Street Night Market.
Bed was a little on the hard side. You could hear other guest hallway.
Location was perfect! It was central to everything. Easy to get public transport and the night market. Probably the best price you can get for this location.
Hotel was old and outdated. Was quite uncomfortable and unclean, even had a few cockroaches running around. Staying there felt like I aged a few years.
locatio
dirty !!!unbelievably baby cockroaches everywhere during night
The location is very convenient. Close to the train station and a few minutes away from Raohe Night Market. There are also convenience stores nearby. The front desk was very helpful despite the language barrier, they still tried their best to accommodate our requests and answer our queries. The room was cleaner than expected. You get what you pay for.
Our room was on the floor above the front desk and there is no direct lift to the floor of our room, so one of us has to go down to press the lift. But it was not so much of a hassle. The room needs more lighting.
The location, it's just a few steps away from Raohe Night Market, PX Mart, convenience stores, and just beside the bank which is very convenient for tourists. The bathroom is nice. Our room is huge with chairs and vanity cabinet and a mini ref inside. Also easy access to public transport such as train stations and bus stops. The staff are really helpful.
The elevator going down is only accessible on from 7th floor. The dryer wasn't that able to dry our clothes despite that I had it set for 30 minutes.
