Pros +
- Nice staff, fun to see the art. Large clean bathrooms.
- 1. When I checked in, the lower bed was with the wrinkles of a human body as if someone borrowed my room to sleep, luckily I used the upper bed so it did not affect me. 2. No TV and WiFi a bit disappointing. 3. First morning I couldn¿t open the doo
- Great price for the location. Minimal amenities, but very clean. Great communication and friendly staff
Cons -
- The bunk bed mattress is less soft than the single bed. Room is small but fine.
- No black out curtains so the room got very bright in the morning
- The hotel is actually not quite what I expected. The location is a bit far from any convenience, the parking separate, but luckily a hospital across the street provides ample space (make sure you park at the hospital and not the office, better space and price. Then There is the issue where the room smelled like it was smoked it, and the property didn't have an ozone machine to help, but just sprayed with deodorant.

Ok if you need a quick place to stay or if you need vicinity to the stadium, but other than that...

I booked for new years to be close to watch Taipei 101’s fireworks. The pictures unfortunately do not do justice to the experience. Generally the facility could use a fixer upper. Im aware we stayed in a larger room with half the wall side being judged large window panels, however this really should have been taken into consideration when planning and good ac and especially heating. I caught a cold upon my first night due to the room being freezing cold. The bed itself was comfy but the blankets were not quite fitting [see picture] The blinds could not be completely closed / partially broken resulting in several sun rays streaming through at the crack of dawn not allowing us to sleep in. The furniture was chipped [again not as fancy as depicted on their website] and the ceiling ventilation in the bathroom was falling apart due to loose nails.I only wish for this hotel to repair and replace a few objects as the theme is lovely and general has a lot of potential. The only room that has a view to Taipei 101 is room 101 btw but they seem to unable to take reservations for that specific room unfortunately. The art gallery was unfortunately nonexistent as depicted on their website and little love for their lobby as the corner was just piles of cleaning materials and boxes that would be best stored in a closet. Stains could be found on most sofas and bean bags and a deep clean could do the rugs some good.
The location was great with many busses right across the street. The only room that has a view to Taipei 101 is room 101 btw but they seem to unable to take reservations for that specific room unfortunately. The cleaning lady was friendly which made our stay better.
Located near transit.
Room was smaller than shown in the photo. Doors beep when open and closing so quite loud.
Overpriced hostel-type room
This place is the most overpriced hostel I’ve ever stayed at. 2m x 6m room with shared bathroom. NTD$5400 after taxes. This is why people don’t travel in Taiwan, it’s a complete rip off. You could get a room just like this in Thailand or Vietnam for 1/10 the price.
I love everything about it, even if it’s a small room but the view was nice, the facilities they provided was nice, the toilet was clean even if it’s a shared bathroom, the price was okay, yup..
need to use stairs to get to the hotel
Rooms and bathroom were very clean.
Some things were not taken of properly, but I think should be:1. Room aircon way too cold and they couldn’t adjust it - can just install a simple air vent to control the airflow.2. One chair in the common area is broken and they didn’t try fixing it, yet leave it out as a safety hazard.3. Body shampoo in one of the men’s bathroom was broken.4. Hot water dispenser is broken - dispenses only a little water on each press.5. Free coffee is available but missing any kind of creamer and sugar.6. 3-person room is insanely small and no chair was available - you get what you pay for.
Reasonable price compare to the location. It’s quite cheap during the week day. Clean bathroom.
The sound proof is really bad and there’re not much restaurants or food near by.
Nice view. So clean. Near from a bus stop and some Metro stations.
There is no washing machines.
Everything it was close to food establishments, local markets access to public transport. It was in the city centre not far from 101 Taipei, President's Palace. Great Chiang Kai Sheik Masoleum. Close proximity to up scale shopping.
No close laundromat but not a big deal.
The location is ok ish.
Really bad mattresses. Super thin and you're basically laying on the wood of the bed. For this kind of money, a good mattress is a minimum requirement. Mostly Asian guests which are noisy and very much hearable through the thin walls and doors.
The encouragement to draw by providing paper and pencils/crayons/markers in many places. The view from our room. In the morning you can walk to the neighbourhood behind the hotel and go to the local market with lots of interesting food and produce.
It's a bit hard to find because it's not on the street level but in the upper floors of an office building. I didn't really see a sign at the street level. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, but to get the soap to wash your hands, you have to walk back to the shower to get some soap. There should be a separate soap dispenser at the sink for convenience.
Cheap and perfect for 2person And very clean. With shared bathroom, toilethttps://youtube.com/@koreana_joons?si=2XQUySle3Jh9k_FV
never again in this hotel
room of 6m2, no window, no bathroom, 500€ for 1 night
Good location, close to a 711, good security, quiet at night in the neighborhood.
The sound insulation wasn’t good and the staff were partying next to my room (I recognized their voices as they all had distinctive accents), with a party of three young nightclub goers in the other room next to me I hardly slept on the first night. The next morning the staff looked guilty when I mentioned it but they offered no apologies.
Disappointing
Matresses are so thin that you cannot sleep properly. Moreover, the airconditioning is extremely cold in all the enviroments of the hotel, including and expecially in the common bathrooms.
Neat and good location
Directions are lobby could be more significant, hard to find the first time
Good rooms and view
Absolutely terrible soundproofing in the rooms made it difficult when the neighbours were noisy
