Hotel East Taipei

Hotel customer service was exceptional. The wide and tasty selection of hotel breakfast energized and nourished me throughout the day. Hotel bed was so firm and comfortable that it felt like I hadn't sleep that well in ages.

Laundry facility could be upgraded. it was placed on the roof in a very dark area. Perhaps add a few more lights to illuminate the area would provide less creepy ambience.

Pretty much everything. Service is top-notch. I've been to many hotels in Taiwan, this one is exceptionally good. Every staff I met, especially at the reception, day or night, they all welcome guests with smile and eagerness, like they are happy to serve. The hotel itself, the room, bathroom, dining room, everything, convince me that the owner has really put effort into it. The whole hotel smells nice, bathroom amenities (soap and shampoo) scents are comforting. Breakfast was not buffet but came in sets like Japanese bento, and other than good taste, they all looked lovely and presentable. Room is spacious, bathroom is clean every day. The maid ladies were friendly.Location is great. Only 5 minutes walk from MRT station and bus stop right in front of the hotel. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby.

Nothing in particular. I could use a little more lights in the bedroom and maybe one more hanger in the bathroom though. But that's just me.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in, I don't believe that the price charged and the hotel ratings are true reflection as what is advertised in booking.comRoom not up to standard , some kind of insect biting be the whole night , came back the nest day and room not made up.

Hotel is 5-7 mins walk from Nanjing Sanmin subway. Lots of eating places around. Diagonally opposite Chia Te bakery. Not a big hotel but that’s fine. Standard room was bit small but toilet had tub and separate shower. Breakfast was included but it’s fairly basic. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful. Laundry room was rather dark and rundown. Hotel could do with some maintenance - my room cupboard couldn’t close and toilet mirror lights were partially faulty. Overall, pretty ok.

Hotel East Taipei boasts a fantastic location, just a five-minute walk from Nanjing Sanmin Station and relatively close to Raohe Night Market, making it a convenient choice for travelers. The staff are exceptionally friendly, energetic, and always eager to help, enhancing the overall experience.However, the poor room maintenance was disappointing. I suffered from bed bug bites, and several power plugs in the room were either faulty or non-functional. While the hospitality is top-notch and the location ideal, the hotel urgently needs to improve cleanliness and maintenance to ensure a comfortable stay for future guests.

Very convenient location. The staffs were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and good quality. The bed was very comfortable. The supplies inside room are quite complete. It is economically beyond the prize. I am so satisfied of it!

The location of the hotel is great as it's just right along the main road. This makes booking and flagging of taxi/uber very easy and the overall aesthetic looks great too. Hotels on a small street can look very clustered and messy, or it makes taxi pick-ups a hassle. The train station (Nanjin Sanmin) is also about a 5 mins walk away and for reference, it takes about 15-20mins to get to Ximending by train which is really convenient. The location of the hotel is outside of the touristy area, but still have lots of cafe, food places and family marts nearby. If you prefer a location that's quieter or less busy, but still convenient to get around to places, this is a good choice. If you choose to take taxi/uber to places like Ximending, Taipei 101, Raohe Night Market, Zhongxiao/Zhongshan it's usually around TWD200-300. Free breakfast was a nice touch. While the options aren't a lot, it is still very good for the price paid. Eggs, bacon, cereal, soup, bread, coffee, juices etc. For a 3 star hotel, I'm pleased with what's offered. The cleaner also made sure to provide us with fresh towels and bottled water on days where we didn't request for housekeeping. Bed is comfortable but pillow can be a little flat. A/C is great and the toilet has a seat warmer with bidet.

No early check-in, even though we arrived 30mins earlier than the check-in time. The room was a little dusty after housekeeping but not sure if it was from the housekeeping itself or because the dust is coming from the A/C. Other than that, had a comfortable 10 nights in this hotel.

The staff are friendly and thoughtful—they even provide bread at midnight, which is a lovely touch. The location is excellent, right next to the train station and within walking distance of popular spots. Plus, the Japanese-style toilet adds extra comfort to the stay.

There was a slight odor in the hotel, though my partner didn’t notice anything, so it might just be my personal sensitivity. The bathroom was a bit dim and compact, but still functional.

Location. Good buffet breakfast. Convenient to subway. Separate bath and shower. Reasonable price.
