Clean, comfortable room; delicious breakfast

There seem to be large extra charges for things that would otherwise be very inexpensive in Taiwan, like for example laundry service was insanely expensive at about 300 NT per shirt or pair of pants. Tipping in addition to service charges got expensive.

I had an upgrade to their best room on my second night of stay. It was impressive.

The location of the hotel was not exactly to my liking.

This hotel delivers a truly professional experience overall. The doorman team is outstanding and sets a very strong first impression with their professionalism and attention. The room was spacious, with a large and functional living and working area. The location is very convenient, with many places reachable on foot. Parking is available, and during the off-season it was smooth and problem-free.

After the excellent welcome at the entrance, there is a noticeable drop in service quality at the check-in desk, where the staff felt less polished. Despite traveling in the off-season, early check-in and late check-out requests could not be accommodated. While the room was large, the bed area felt slightly small in proportion. The spa and fitness center looked impressive at first glance but were underwhelming in actual quality. Parking may become an issue on busy days due to limited availability.

We had a wonderful stay at The Landis hotel. The room was very nice, plenty of room. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Found the location very convenient, few blocks from the metro station. Staff was cordial and helpful.

Parking is a mess and not clear at all. Wish the hotel would let folks know - especially if they let them know days before arriving that they are coming with car. Also reception is on 14th floor. Downstairs floor is a third party restraining - making checking in a bit of a hassle especially with parking.

I felt 57usd for buffet breakfast for 2 was high In the room the lighting was odd. There was no way to just turn the lights on in the living room or the suite so the bedroom stayed dark. Maybe just never figured it out.

Hotel staff were super courteous and professional. Our room was at the right size for our family. Room services (by Ellie) was excellent and she definitely paid attention to details and made us feel like at home.

In room thermostats seemed not to responsive to our settings. Room temperature dropped a few degrees at night made the room temperature colder than desired.

Doorman and bell staff are professional, welcoming and speak good English. The availability of the lounge on 13 floor was excellent - for us to do our prayers before leaving for the airport.

An iron in the room will be good!

Near to Taipei main station and not too far to walk from metro station. Also close to some late night eateries and we can just pack our food back to the room, instead of waiting in the long queue. We got upgraded to a corner and bigger room. Very comfortable stay. The staffs are very friendly and smiley, making us feel welcome.

The sound proofing could be better. But not sure if it is because our room is one of the adjoining rooms. We were told to turn down the volume when the tv wasn't that loud.
