Near shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and a church. Facility is clean. The rooms are good-sized ones; they appear smaller in photos on the website. Water dispensers were available on all floors (this was such a plus)!

Took an Uber ride back from Taipei 101. Despite specifying Royal Inn Taipei Linsen, we were dropped off at another Royal Inn Taipei Linsen facility few blocks away from where we actually stayed. I guess it was just confusing.

Location wise, was a tad far from the MRT, but walkable to majority of the places i wanted to go to. The room i stayed in was spacious and clean, the beds were sufficiently firm, toilet clean and spacious, and there is a proper water dispenser outside for me to top up water. ample furniture for myself and spouse to lounge around in the room.

the shower head holder was a bit faulty, it couldnt hold the shower head in place, i had to adjust the water pressure to prevent it from spraying water at the ceiling. the pillows are too soft, had to ask for an extra pillow for proper support.

It’s right in the middle of a crowded area, there are some bar etc, lots of drunk people in the middle of the night got drunk and throw up ? the wall/window are not sound proof, it’s kind of noisy. The bed is not comfortable

Toilet does not have a door and is facing the room’s front door peephole. I am staying with my family so it’s uncomfortable / don’t feel safe to shower without a toilet door, even though there is a door for the shower partition it cannot be locked. There are also no hooks to hang my clothes within the shower partition. Water from the basin tap is freezing cold even though the water from shower is hot. It does not have the heating function. Room’s view is facing the back of other short buildings, we are lucky that it’s a high floor so we can still get an open view. But on lower floors I think it will be just facing the building wall. Breakfast food is not tasty but edible, there are a lot of better breakfast food outside. Unlike the other hotels I have stayed, there is no sign for us to put on our table to signify that we are still eating, so I am afraid that the staff would clear our half eaten food when we leave the table to get more food. Hotel signage is not big / obvious enough so taxi driver actually missed the place and had to detour. Hotel is next to a club place so it feels dangerous to walk at night (it’s closed during day time) . Anyone can access hotel’s lift since there is no lobby or security guard at the ground floor. Even though guest room floors are accessible only with the room card, people can just follow after you press a floor.Hotel location is not next to Taipei station and takes time to walk. Bus stops are within walkable distance but some buses are not very frequent.

We took the Standard Double room for our stay. It's like a cozy studio feel. There's a water dispenser in front of the lift, hot warm or cold. You also have a jug in the room if you don't want to go back and forth to get your water all the time. The breakfast area is quite cozy, they have an area for non-eating activities like reading.

No toiletries like toothbrush, cotton pad/buds in the roo. You have to pick up these amenities at reception. And there's a sign that says it will be payable as from 01 Jan 2025. There were no slippers which was a bit of a disappointment since the flooring material isn't carpet.

The location is very good. The breakfast is simple but delicious especially porridge with many side dishes. Nice espresso.The counter staff helps me to call taxi, walk down to the door, the taxi had arrived less than 3 minutes.2 MRT stations can be reached (Zhong Shan and Shuang Lian).

The counter staff attitude is not very friendly and polite. They didn't show their friendly smile and behavior when we arrived.

Excellent breakfast, freshly prepared meals with good quality, staff are tentative and courteous, room is clean, we enjoyed our week stay at this hotel.

I wish this hotel is a bit closer to a MRT station, after a whole day of walking around Taipei, the short 6,7 minutes walk back to the hotel is not something we look forward to. Having said that, this hotel is very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by any traffic noise during our stay.

It's a great value for price. Very nice bathroom, comfortable and clean. Very good location.

The location is actually in the red light district, where many intoxicated individuals and prostitutes loiter around. It can be quite bothersome, especially with drunk individuals lingering outside during midnight. Additionally, due to the night club adjacent to the hotel, numerous club staff members frequently come and go from the hotel premises. I have also encountered some club staff members smoking in the elevator, which is concerning.Secondly, The location displayed on the map appears close to Zhongshan Station; however, in reality, it is quite far away. This misinformation could greatly mislead visitors.While it is accurate that the breakfast price is very affordable, but the congee is lukewarm, the ham and sausage are tasteless, and there are no options for eggs other than boiled eggs.
