The staff are pleasant and the cleaning crew are very enthusiastic with their work!

This hostel is perfect in so many ways. It just the right amount of social without being overbearing. Really easy to make friends and find people to hang out with, but the common areas are designed well enough that you can just be by yourself if that's what you prefer. Additionally, all of the amenities were great and very clean. I wish the mattress would have been a bit comfier, but it was on par with all the other hostels I stayed at in Taiwan, so maybe not a complaint specific to this hostel.

Close to a metro station which is great but the location in general I wasn't crazy about. Preferred walking around / exploring other neighborhoods

The hostel was clean and plenty of toilet and shower room. The staff were also nice and maintains the property well.

Hopefully a bigger space inside the room to keep the luggages inside.

Beds were super comfortable, facilities were very clean, and staff were polite and helpful.

Probably the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. Great facilities, prime location, and a huge common area that’s perfect for meeting and chatting with other folks staying there.

I honestly can’t think of anything. Will be staying here anytime I go to Taipei going forward

The location is convenient and a quick walk to Ximending. The staff was very helpful in providing travel advice and other relevant information. The room is quiet and the air conditioning was adequate.

Multiple sightings of cockroaches in the lobby area. Bathroom shows aging due to heavy usage and can be cleaner. Mattresses can provide better cushion and support. We wish there are more hooks/racks/storage space in the room.

I would highly recommend this hostel, especially if you're travelling solo and looking to meet people. The free group events and the social feeling of the common room led to me meeting and spending time with lots of fellow travellers. There are also lots of perks - a communal fridge, microwave, and kitchen cutlery, free tea/coffee, free drinking water, complimentary slippers for the duration of the stay, a postcard mailing service, towels available for rent, and beer available for purchase. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms, both private and common, are very clean and smell nice. The bed was comfortable and between the lockers and bed, I had plenty of space for my things. There's a full bathroom in the hostel room and additional common bathrooms. The bedrooms were nice and quiet.

There was shower gel and shampoo available in the room shower but no hand soap, so bring your own!

I loved how accessible this location was to the metro, restaurants, shops, and parks. The facilities were modern and clean. The fact that they give a meal voucher for each day of your stay and a group chat for Meander residents to meet each other and hang out were wonderful bonus amenities. This hostel really attracts some wonderful travelers.

The beds were a bit stiff and the pillows are really thick, so not the most comfortable for my smaller frame.

Had an excellent stay at Meander. The rooms and common areas were clean. Staff were helpful and pleasant. They offer free food vouchers for local restaurants and cafes which was a nice surprise. 10 minutes walk from Ximen station and Ximending. Atmosphere was lively. Highly recommend.

I was expecting a lot like a "5-star" kind of hostel, like providing pajamas and amenities and so on, because it was more expensive but I guess I've been to better hostels for a more affordable price.

The common room was very warm and convenient to meet people, I liked that you can serve yourself with café and tea. The beds are confortable and clean but my room was too humid. Not expensive for a good location by Ximending

My 4 people female dorm was way too humid, I got sick after 3 nights, Windows was facing a wall, the window was never open and AC was constant to try to get rid of the humidity..

very social place and great accomodations. one of the cleanest hostels I have been to. They have a big lounge in the lobby that is very social. They have a whatsapp group for people to connect and spend time with each other. It is overall a great experience. The room was excellent and clean. Location was close to the subway. I highly recommend this place for solo travelers.

The location of the hostel is awesome, five minutes from all the action in Ximending! I did a tour through the hostel which was also really good, the tour guide (PC) was super friendly and knowledgeable. The beds were also probably the most comfortable hostel beds I’ve ever stayed in lol.

The single thing that I can say that I didn’t like was that there was hair in the drains in all the women’s showers, which made some of them difficult to drain. other than this, everything was perfect.

Loved the lobby/living room area!! Great place to meet travelers! The showers were great and the facilities were nice too! Also, the area of town it is located in was excellent!! Loved the location!

Value for money didn’t feel too great; the room had no windows and would’ve been cramped for 3 ppl (it was a triple room and there were 2 of us). Rooftop, at least during our stay, was quite unlike the photos (a few hard benches and tables) – felt a bit like a missed opportunity.

Staff was helpful, the facilities were great for travelers, but also really nice for someone who just missed the last train home. Even though I was in a room with other people I had plenty of privacy and access to a bathroom whenever I needed it.
