The hair dryer is quite small and slow, noisy fan sound at night (not sure is it the compressor or toilet suction fan sound), we are too tired so still able to sleep at night, check in time is at 6pm

Best view, great location. Easy walk from the Xinbeitou MRT station. Next door to many restaurants and convenience stores. Across the street from the beautiful library and near the museum and thermal pond. My private room stay included a hot spring tub, large bed and balcony with a perfect view of the library and mountains. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included in my stay.

The breakfast starts later than most others, so if you have a tour booked (like I did for YangmingShan) you will end up skipping the breakfast. Though honestly, it was not my favorite when I did get to have it.The afternoon tea was good, provided because check in is so late (6pm). Though maybe a little confusing. The room is quite dated and found to be a bit dirty when I dropped something that fell under the bed, but adequate and comfortable for a short stay.

Very close to metro, it is almost next door to sweetme resort. Less than 10 mins walk to thermal valley. Surrounded with alot of food choices. A convenient store just below. Location is just nice to explore the park. Free breakfast and afternoon tea. Great stay and good value.

the bathtub for the spring water allows everyday soaking. Location is perfect, near train station.. Room is clean.

Although breakfast and tea buffet is provided. It's the same spread everyday. We stayed for a week to explore Yangmingshan, by the 3rd day, the buffet was very predictable.

The location and staff were very nice.

There is no sound proofing at all. We can hear early morning street noise as if our windows were wide open.

Staff are nice and helpful, breakfast and "afternoon tea" are included (mostly eastern style food). The location is very convenient and right in the heart of the Beitou hot spring tourist area.

You pay a premium for location and the deep bath that has hot spring water. The room was nice but simple. But, then again, it was the nicest hotel at this price range from what I saw online.

Strategic location, 5 min walk to Xinbeitou train station. Access to attractions area and food and convenience stores. Room size is spaces, good breakfast and high tea buffet. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Love this place .

Excellent experience at this hotspring hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, environment was peaceful, and the private hotspring in our room was very nice.

Fantastic hotel, great for long and short term stays! I was here last year for almost a month, and it was like being at home. Very professional and friendly Personnel. I just always chose this amazing place because it feels like home. You have a hot spring in Your own bathroom and the views are great, everything is super clean. Breakfast is amazing - great selection of traditional Chinese food and nice afternoon tea snacks.

The location is easy to find and near the various tourist spots of beitou. There is a tub where you can soak yourself in the white sulphur hotspring water. It is very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay. The TVs are great, where you can mirrorcast making the experience really nice.

When we got the room, the area under the bed wasn't clean, a lot of short and long hairs, I guess it was from the previous guest. I have mentioned it to the reception and they were apologetic towards it, and I told them, the next day to clean it up while we will out. But there wasn't any clean up though the room was made up. I am guessing they just do a surface cleaning. The tea reception is rather weird with very limited choices of snacks... Not sure why are they offering it.

We went to Taiwan for the first time and it's my mom's 70th birthday and the stay at JBG was the highlight of the trip, mom was so happy and I feel grateful for they are such a wonderful place to stay. We moved from the previous hotel in Taipei center to JBG via bus and just a 2 minutes walk from the bus station we see the hotel. During the stay we did some day trip with the bus to Yang Ming Shan forest and also to some galleries nearby, it's very convenient with that bus station and MRT 2 minutes away. The price was much less that what we paid for the previous hotel so we didn't except much. But the room was spacious, clean, fresh, and with excellent view. Hot-spring bathtub inside our bathroom makes it easy for a quick dip so mom did 3 or 4 times a day. We had such a relax time after 4 days of walking a lot to all the sightseeing places in Taipei. Night sleep was good too although it's on the side of the road, insulation must be good.Great location to discover the neighborhood, including the green forest near by - either by bus or by hiking; museum and old houses and pagodas, local (non-touristic) markets with all the best street food... The hotel (and our room, and the breakfast buffet view) looks over a big asian style garden with the Taipei Public Library (Beitou Branch). It's one of 15 best architects for public library in the world, a tranquility place to just chill out for a book or a short walk. The library opens until 9pm, I enjoyed some quick me-time inside the library at the end of a long walking day. Last but not least: excellent staffs! They are Taiwanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese... all friendly and helpful. Together we threw a surprise birthday party (which they helped me big time for organizing) for mom and we had such a great time together. They are also supportive for check in-out and at the buffet breakfast.
