Muzik Hotel - Ximending Xining

Frontdesk is very well happy to help and friendly , rooms are clean and location are best for tourist .

The lady on reception was very pretty.The room was cool and had a nice view. When I wanted my room cleaned it was cleaned and when I asked for towels I was giving them.You have everything you need close by and the MRT is only a 10 minute walk away.

The bed was a little hard to sleep on.

The location is good. With 5 minutes walk to the night market and about 10 minutes walk to the train station

They don’t provide housekeeping service to clean up and tidy up the beds and room over my 4 nights stay. They only change the towels and clear the rubbish.

The property is accessible to XIMENDING. The staff in the frontdesk are so helpful. They even gave is welcome stuffs. The linens and towels are so clean. Unlimited supply of snacks and drinks in the lobby.

The lift is quite old.

Pros:- Good location (not to be confused with the Ximen station branch, but location is still fairly decent, ~5 mins walk to Ximen MRT Exit 6)- You can check in and out yourself with a kiosk without waiting in line for front desk- Kiosk didn't lag and process was fast and simple- Soundproofing seemed pretty decent, stayed on 3rd floor but couldn't hear any street sounds- Duvet was surprisingly comfortable- At least bottled water provided

Cons:- Building and lift itself is pretty shabby but I guess they get the job done- No front desk service on weekdays so if you have any issues, hard to contact someone- Bathroom is way too small, door cannot open fully as it will hit the sink- No window in room is fine but no window in toilet is a little... better ventilation is required for hygiene purposes- Cleanliness leaves something to be desired; when wetting my toothbrush one day I accidentally brushed it against the underside of the faucet where the water comes out and my brush came away with black spots on it. Tried to peer under and could see a black lining around the inside of the faucet. - Small bath tub provided but I don't think it's the kind you would really wanna soak in.- Shower curtain did an adequate job protecting water from splashing on to the toilet bowl (as it's just behind the tub) but enabled water to splash down to the floor. Only one drainage near the sink so the water kinda pools.- Shampoo provided is honestly not great, smells like dishwashing liquid. I can close one eye as it was only 2 nights stay but honestly anything more would have been pushing it.- Only two pillows provided and they are too soft. They end up becoming very flattened and not great for a nights sleep. If you sleep on your side you will wake up with a shoulder ache.- Definitely not great for more than 1-2 nights stay, or for more than 2 pax

The location was good. Beds are clean. Toilet bowl has heating function and other various functions.

That toilet paper should not be thrown into toilet bowl. Beds are super shaky.Weird shape room and slanted ceiling, prone to hitting head at my side of the bed.No power outlets at/near nightstands, only 1 hidden behind the bed.

The room is big and clean

No 24 hrs reception make it a bit inconvenient. And feel unsafe.

Near to Xi men ding. Express check in and out. Allow to keep luggage after check out.

No housekeeping. Have to pack the rubbish myself and put in the corridor. Slippery toilet floor.

Room was nice and clean. You gotta check in and check out by yourself with the machine at lobby which is easy to use. Make sure to check your messager for check-in routine. Seems they don't have front desk on weekdays, anyways it doesn't bother at all.

Maybe put more light in the room

Very good location, and a big room (quadruple) with comfy beds. Located on the 9th floor so traffic noise was acceptable. We actually tried to book here again when we came back through Taipei, so we weren't particularly put off by my negative comment below, once we had our bearings!

Was a bit disappointed that we had to go to another branch of the hotel to pick up our key card. It wasn't too far away, but not ideal when you first arrive in a new city with luggage and tired children, but I think this was just a temporary thing during our stay.

Good location and friendly staff

Facade - it was run down and with minimum faciliites.

1. Water comes from the faucet is very strong.2. Good location.

1. Bad wifi system, told them to repair but still not working until I leaved. 2. Bad Counter service, I stayed in 4 night and there just one day that counter assistant available. 3. Nearby the road, quite noisy. 4. Bad checking service, I was checked in the main hotel and walk to the hotel I lived.

Nice and clean, room isn't big but comfortable. Staffs are pretty friendly. Location is good in Ximenting.
