    Pros +

    • Our apartment was very large and to my surprise we had a nice private hot Spring. We are very thankful for our little vacation away from busy Taipei.
    • For a hotel at Beitou, this one is one of the most convenient being 3 minutes walk from Xin Beitou station. Although the room and bath was large, it still leaves more to desire. The public hot spring was not as well kept as I hoped and the steam room was renovating during my stay. Most staff's attitudes were great except for one particularly grumpy lady.
    • Location is near to METRO. Very convenient. The hot spring facilities in the hotel is good. But the staff at the counter (especially 1 auntie) very rude and unfriendly. Room is so so as cleanliness can be better

    Cons -

    • NA
    • Breakfast is basic and repetitive, would not recommend. The cakes looked like they were there for a few days and already stale. The hot spring was not as well kept as I hoped and the steam room was renovating during my stay. My biggest qualm was (1) check-in time at 6pm is way too late, (2) the room and bath were decent but not as clean as i hoped, (3) the beddings reeked of a smell even after i request to change the sheets (at first i thought it was pee-stained smell but after on i feel like it is the smell of the hot spring water).
    • Little English spoken. Breakfast not many European options. Bedroom had no windows and was pretty dark and spartan - I think the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom! There is a spar in the hotel but it's naked and single sex so didn't bother - went to the public one in town which was fun. Seems pricey compared to other places we've stayed in Taiwan but I guess it's a pricey area because of the spas? Would probably try and find somewhere cheaper next time without any hotel spa.

Great location near centre of town and a few mins walk from the train station. Friendly staff. Huge bathroom with black stone bath.

    space, facilities , location

bed too soft, hotel abit old. breakfast food abit to cold.

    7TzuPosted on: 8-4-2024

Breakfast is not really high end, but with the price range, and the perfect location(which only 2 mins walk from metro), it is just perfect, and hot spring is really great and the location of the hotel is perfect for all tour sights. Not mention that all the satffs are all friendly and willing to help. I suggest coming here during Summer, since the hot weather, barely any locals will come, so the price is quite cheap on weekends. Just remember that you get to have your own bathtub for hot spring and cold water all you can use during your stay! IT IS A BARGAIN :)

The room is quite old and dusty, yeah I said dusty not dirty. The overall environment is good. However, the facility itself is really old, during my stay, the wallpaper and door lock are rusty. and the plug is even wobbly and with no plastic cover for safety concern

Good location within walking distance to attractions and plenty of food options nearby. Hot spring bath in room was great

Property is dated and in need of updates. Room was spacious but dusty and no room safe. Breakfast options were limited.

Close to transport, clean and roomy with in room hot hot spring, as well as indoor and roof top gender separated hot springs.

The power charging point, if it could be upgrade to international standard for all country.

spacious room, helpful and thoughtful staff to provide twin bedroom without addition charges.

    breakfast could be improved.

The hot spring bath in the room was spacious. The bed was clean

The floors weren't clean. There were hair all over the floor.

The Public Hot spring is very large and good quality. It was really comfortable.

Room is a bit old and not clean.

Room is very spatiousBathroom is unexpectedly modernGood bath

The bedroom is a bit classic (feels like the cabinet is about to break when I was opening it)The shower room door cannot be closed somehow

Very spacious room and bathroom, great breakfast, very friendly staff, and most especially, the private hot spring!

Hoping that there’s a light switch close to the bed.

    8UnknownPosted on: 5-21-2023

The hot spring experience both in the room and use of the public facilities. The gardens were also beautiful and the location was excellent.Staff went above and beyond to help (Mia was particularly helpful).

Bed could have done with an extra pillow (only one each)

    7JoelPosted on: 5-3-2023

very close to station and bus stop, convenient to shops. bath facilities were extensive

    loud fridge

    10JamesPosted on: 5-2-2023

hot spring bath in the hotel room was amazing, least western style breakfast of all the places I’ve been in this country and I so enjoyed the garden at night. make sure you take the pretty side entrance it was wildly attractive

the 2 vouchers you get at reception are for the buffet breakfast in the morning or the gender specific semi public hot spring bath, bring both so you don’t get stuck without a towel / locker key & have to go back to the room each time for a paper slip to enjoy the amenities

    7kaiwahPosted on: 4-10-2023

Location is easily accessibly within the walking distance from the Xinbeitou MRT Station. The room's hot spring water bath tub is excellent.

Room cleaning is upon the request of the customer whereby you need to pass your room key to the receptionist. Else there will be no room cleaning services. This information should be conveyed at the time of check-in. The breakfast was normal. The room lighting was dim as well as the whole premises.

Ohhh I really love the private hot springs on each rooms. Im very comfortable and i do love it. The facility are clean, the hotel lobby assistant is really friendly and good on their communication.

The room has its own bathroom with spring hot water, so you can enjoy hot springs privately in your room. The public spring pool is also OK

There were no disposable slippers, so we had to walk on bare feet inside the room. What disappointed me profoundly was the filthiness of the room's tea pot. I tried to have some hot tea, and when I opened the teapot, I saw green molds on the bottom of the pot.... I guess it was not washed or changed.... It made me sick... The room appeared to be clean, but if you looked carefully, there were dusts on the corner ? I know it was the Chinese New Year holiday season, so the price is usually higher but for the disappointments like those, the price was a little too high.... I hope they will improve it....

    7fruitsparadisePosted on: 1-10-2023

It is in a hot spring area and it was amazing that you could get hot spring water in your private bathroom. The room was spacious and you could get an open air hot spring ticket. The amenities like the shower gel were the best I ever had.

I wished for more salad varieties during breakfast time. The garbage basket was rather small. The room door lock may need some maintenance. Except the front, the other staff may only speak Chinese.
