Hub Hotel Tucheng

The staff were polite and generally helpful, which I appreciated.

My stay at this hotel was just okay.The cleanliness was average — not spotless, but acceptable. One thing that really stood out, though, was the odd smell I encountered every time I walked from the lobby to the pantry area. It was noticeable and unpleasant.However, I feel it’s important to mention that this hotel offers short stay rentals (around three hours), which seems to cater to couples, as condoms were provided in the room. If you’re someone who might be uncomfortable with that kind of environment, this hotel might not be your best choice.

The room is quite big and comfortable for a family of there.

There's no breakfast. Not all staff can speak basic english. A bit far from the train station.

Breakfast are decent here, bread, butter and jam. They have bags of snacks, oats, tea, coffee and ice cream available 24 hours. The self-served ice cream is my favorite. Now that I am an adult, nobody stops me from having ice cream for breakfast.

Good location. Not too far from a metro stop and not crowded with tourists.

The room was one of the best rooms during our long trip around Taiwan.

No parking space. I had to struggle a lot for that .

The room was covered in mould. We entered into a dump and mouldy smell to quickly realise that walls, bathroom and even windows were completely mouldy. Within a couple of hours we felt extremely unhealthy, had allergies and headaches. Severe health danger.

lIf you need to be in Tucheng, it is the only real hotel option. Very nice rooms and small lobby with good work area. Staff is very diligent and accommodating

Only problem is the price, high for Taiwan

Plenty of good small food stalls around. The staff was helpful and nice. Place is quite clean especially when we are close to the market. There is a snack/dining area for guests with free snacks which was a nice perk. The metro is also a walkable distance.

The walls are thin and I wish there is a shower curtain because water gets everywhere. Rooms are on a smaller side and there is no closet to put your luggage.

The location is superb. The staff were quick in response. We received a free upgrade and that’s very kind! The beds are very comfortable.

The sound insulation could be better. The free drinking and snacks bar is a great idea, but the breakfast is very limited to only toast and jam.
