ARK Hotel - Dongmen

Chek-in time is after 5pm, unusual and inconvenient! Room is tiny.

Top location, everything nearby. Staff was kind enough to move to a room on a higher floor where you can open a window for fresh air. Ok option for somewhat longer stays if internet is not important for you.

Internet / wifi very spotty. Kept disconnecting or stopping to work. Wasn't possible to have a proper video call on many occasions. Staff tried to fix it but issues kept re-occurring.Facilities could be a bit cleaner or slightly refreshed.

Active neighborhood, very walkable. Great access to the rest of the city.

It is cruel that the all-day hallway music is so loud and bad while the walls have no soundproofing. I was miserable in my windowless, tiny room with loud hallway music seeping in, feeling either freezing (thermostat on at any setting) or very hot (thermostat off).

Many restaurant near hotel. Good location, can walk to subway.

I can hear everthing around my room.

Lo value, basic property, the only feature is its location.

This level of very basic, very old property should be in the NTD2,000 range, not the NTD3800 I paid.

Hotel charged me twice. Even I paid through Booking App, they charged me again at the property

Location is amazing! Value is great! The room is very small. Even though there is a desk, there is not enough room for the chair and a person to fit. The window did not look out into anything. The housekeeping just changes out the towels and empties the garbage. Does not make the bed at all.

Location is perfect if you want to have a leisure walk along 永康街

Isolation amongst rooms are bad, you can clearly hear the TV program playing in the room behind the bed

The bed was very comfortable and the room for decent natural light.

The room was quite dusty to the extent I rinsed the water bottles off. There was also accumulated dust in the corners and hard water stains in the shower.

Amazing location next to Yongkang St, Da’an District!

Property is in average+ condition. Could use a renovation pretty soon.

Location is great and front deck staff friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.

Carpet and shower could have been clearer. The cleaning cart was many times parked so it was an obstacle to entering the room.

Great location near Dongmen Station with two metro lines and Yongkang Street. Water dispenser and coffee machine at the lobby. Very thorough room cleaning.

Room was quite tight and could be challenging for travelers with large suitcases. Bathroom door stands somewhat in the way. Pricey over the weekend.

ARK Hotel was an excellent find. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Walking distance to so many attractions - Da'an Park, Yongkang St for shopping and restaurants, and super convenient for transport, a few minutes from Dongmen station, and close to the Brown MRT line. The bedroom (with a window) was pretty spacious, great bathroom, plenty of power points (some with built-in international adapters), fridge, mini-safe. On the top floor is a washing machine (laundry powder provided) and a tumble drier. There's also a help-yourself coffee machine in the foyer, as well as an assortment of snacks.

- the location was great, very close to the Yongkang area with a bunch of good food. Also close to the original Din tai fung if you care about that as well as very close to the MRT red- close to a park- close to two 7/11s- they have a water dispenser on the ground floor- free laundry on the top floor

- room is kind of small for the price- the shower door doesnt really close so you have to mcgyver it to stay shut when you shower- the room has an odor and they have a central ventilation system so there's nothing they can do

Good Location. Has some snacks and coffee at lobby. Toilet can flush down toilet papers. Provide free water.

Space limited. No window view.

Compact but clean. Very convenient to MRT, eateries, shops.

Street noise could be a problem for a sensitive guest.

The room size is so small. We don't have room for luggage. We can't even open the luggage.

The animal theme was great. Location was fantastic! Snack bar downstairs was nice.

Wifi in our room wasn't working. Price was high.
