    Pros +

    • Check-in should be earlier instead of 4pm. Check-out should be later instead of 11am.
    • - We had a big family room with an in-room spa. It was nice, although we only used it once. Most importantly: The hotel managed to build the in-room spa in a way that smells from the sulfur water or moisture does not go into the sleeping room. Very good!- Spacious shower and bath.- Free snacks and drinks in the fridge.
    • Location & staffs

    Cons -

    • Bigger TV and more TV programme.
    • Minor things:- This hotel is extremely conveniently located next to the main train station. It is a bit away from the more beautiful mountainous region where most spa hotels are located, though. (Closer to the national park.) This has upsides (easier access to the night market and food options) and downsides (not as nature-y).- The room was theoretically marked for 4 people but even with 3 people we needed to get a bit creative about where to put our 3 big luggage. There is a luggage room, but it holds max 2 luggages. The rest of the room is quite full with (comfy) furniture.- The fridge made a few loud noises in the night for the person living in the front room.
    • Slight glitch with hotel computer system so check-in was slow.

The room was very comfortable, quiet, and the amenities were great eg mattress pillows etc.

The luggage service which there was not any given it is a 5 star hotel.

Best location for this suburb. Opposite metro station and near lots of food.

    8KatePosted on: 2-7-2025

I like the new and thoughtful facilities in the rooms

The bathtub is a bit dangerous for elder to enter as the wall of the tub is tall and thick. Besides, we can hear the draining sounds of other floors at night. Also, very limited selection for in-hotel dining except set menu.

    10BoonPosted on: 1-12-2025

It is just outside the metro station and we didn't have to walk far. The hotspring tub inside the room and the shared pools were good. They also have some activities that guests can join for free.

    Nothing actually.

The services provided by the staff are resourceful and helpful with very good attitude. Close and convenient to public transportation.

Only two sets of drinks (i.e., vinegar drinks) for a bedroom booked and lived with 4 people. The services for the dinner were excellent but the meals were far from value for money. One can get much better meals (in terms of value for money) around the hotel. The shared hot spring pools are so small which cannot really accommodate more than 4 people comfortably. Lack of organized activities, unlike the Hotel Royal in Taitung which provided various activities for those who stayed there.

    Breakfast is good

Amenities, and the staff didnt tell me that I had to drop the token and run it through the machine before I leave parking

Fantastic to have in room hot springs. Perfect location being right opposite Xinbeitou MRT station. Innovative in room amenities such as isotonic drinks, and notable consideration of sustainability by having communal water fountains instead of providing plastic bottles. Fantastic breakfast options.

The slippers provided were potentially a bit small for western feet

    10Teng-peiPosted on: 5-9-2024

Very convenient location right across from the MRT station. Staff were very friendly and attentive; room amenities were excellent; and the breakfast was also wonderful. A great stay!

The service was phenomenal. At check-in, we were greeted, offered herbal tea, and asked to sit down while checking in. I speak a little Mandarin and the check-in manager very kindly humored me by speaking with me in that language, then seamlessly transitioning into excellent English when he knew my husband would benefit from hearing what he was saying and/or that the directions might be complicated for me to understand. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us detailed suggestions on things to do and where to have lunch, then gave us a map where he wrote down notes on how to get to the places he suggested. Another front-of-house employee showed us to our room and explained all its features as well as how to use the en suite hot spring bath and the the hotel communal hot springs facilities. We really enjoyed our hot spring bath, and loved exploring the area, which was all walk-able from the hotel. The room was very modern and had interesting features such as a table that nested under a counter until it was swung out into the room when needed. They also provided great drinks and snacks in the room, already included in the room rate. Breakfast was good, though we were a little confused by the format of being able to order and also going to the buffet. Overall, we loved this hotel and Xinbeitou, and it easily was the most relaxing part of our trip.

Lovely room with private onsen! Love that I can soak in the onsen bath at any time of the day at my own convenience!

    1. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. 2. Great facilities 3. Friendly staffs going thru the extra mile (they packed our breakfasts when we left for the airport at 6am even tho we had only put in the request at 9pm the night before)

    1. One of our rooms had a blocked pipe which they apologized for2. The bed was a little hard

Excellent service from check-in and check out.. Staff were observant and considerate. They even prepared breakfast for take away when we checked out super early in the morning. Thumbs up for the service. Love the details in the room like freshly made chocolate and freshly picked mint leaves for tea. Keep up the good work

The price is too expensive for one night on 30 Dec, close to SGD 1000 as compared to other hotels..

The hotel offered many amenities that were all professionally orchestrated. The cafe and restaurant downstairs are top quality. The room and hot springs were especially clean and comfortable.

    8PengPosted on: 10-7-2023

Within hot springs, sports spa pool in the city. The air the smell when just into the room feeling comfortable. The localised snacks served in room are unique.
