Great location close to the MRT and a tasty and abundant breakfast buffet.

There is virtually no concept of service. You help yourselves, if you cannot then you suffer

Although the hotel is smoking free, there's strong smell of smoking cigarette and there's not much staffs could do about it. Also the wall is so thin that I could listen to conversation in the next room.

The location is good.

The room we reserved online turned out to be only slightly bigger than a double bed. Its description did not say it was the smallest room in the hotel. So we Had to pay extra for a standard sized room. The bathroom fan remote was out of battery.

Close to mrt and train stations, it makes going to tourist spots very handy. A minute walk to night market and plenty of food around the hotel. Staff at front desk are very helpful and polite.

Breakfast. Does not support western tourists. Very limited choices, being only vegetarian dishes there was not even much choices in bread and just one fruit daily. For guests who are not used to Asian cuisine for breakfast, it was a struggle to find something to eat. Boiled eggs were always lying at one corner of breakfast area. Coffee too was just one option, to choose.Bathroom. Walk in shower option would be helpful

The hotel is located near the central market. Excellent location. bustling evening activities. Close to the main downtown areas of Tapei 101, and other attractions. Breakfast was good. Recommend coming down early 6:30am is a good time. We got down at about 08:00am and the pickings were slim. They were out of vegetables, and running low on the juices.

Overall, great location. Come down early for breakfast, else you may miss the boat.

The reception stuff was rude and not accommodating, they even have any cutlery as I wanted to cut the fruit. The room are noisy as I could hear everything in the next room including people’s conversations. There’s damp smell in the room. There is no fresh air in the room.

1. Location just across the road from Songshan MRT station, and also 5min walk from Raohe Night Market. Overall good location if you would like to stay in that area of Taipei.2. Bed and pillows were comfortable 3. Staff were friendly and helpful4. Fuss free 1 night stay for us with ok pricing

1. Cleanliness - it is an old property, carpets and curtains need a revamp and those tight corners (below the sink etc.) were super dirty (hair, dirt and dust). The usable surfaces, toilets and sheets were clean though. Just overall may not be for fussies. 2. Breakfast is fully vegetarian, nothing to rave about although a nice add on.

The hotel made a mistake with room cards, forcing some colleagues to check out early. When we tried to resolve it, the staff was unhelpful and just blamed the guests. Very disappointing service.

Be nice to have simple more western options at breakfast like scrambled eggs and a small pastry selection, maybe muesliBathroom had no soap at the sink in spite of having a soap dish

Room size is on the small side.

Japanese toilet, Bath Tub, honest and friendly Staff, room is clean,the place well maintained, amazing location with great food within walking distance.

Room is a little small, if your luggage is open, one small part of the room will be blocked. The windows were not very useful in allowing sunlight to enter the room, without turning the lights on the room is very dark even during the day

We booked a family room with 3 beds with a balcony. Our bathroom had double sinks, which was really convenient. The most important reason we booked this hotel is because Taipei 101 is visible from our hotel and an even better view at the Garden Terrace on th 10th floor where we watched the fireworks on New Year's Eve! It was a spectacular fireworks show. We would book there again should we choose to be in Taipei again for New Year's Eve. Another best thing is, the Raohao Night Market was just across the hotel where we go to buy our dinners. And then also, it was only about 1.5km from Taipei 101. So convenient with laundry machines available.

Upon arriving at the area of the hotel, we were a bit weary of what the hotel would be like but it turned out ok. The better restaurants were some distance away. Back in the room, I understand that the hotel is cost cutting and no longer gives toiletries but no hand soap? I still think they should provide those small hotel soaps bars for the hands. 1 for every 2 days or so, would be appreciated, tho there was a bottle of shower gel in the shower. Hand soap shouldn't be too much to ask after all we pay a lot for our hotel room, especially during the season we booked, New Year's Eve!

The bath tub is very high and tidy that is not safe for aged people.
