Location is great - 2 minute walk from Xinbeitou Station. The private hot bath in our bedroom was fantastic and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was also nice.
It would be good if we were able to do check in early, as check in was 4pm. We were able to leave our luggage and advised by staff to return later though.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Newspaper delivered to your door in the morning was a lovely touch. Room was big and bright and beautiful and we were upgraded when we arrived which was really kind! Sauna, steam and huge spring in room were wonderful. Only let down was breakfast - for a fairly pricey hotel we have had much better at more budget places.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The facilities, including the private bath, were great and very relaxing! The location was very convenient and near a train line, restaurants, convenience stores, Starbucks, and nearby activities such as the Thermal Valley and various hikes. The complimentary breakfast service was good too! Highly recommended!
The bed we had was like two twin/full mattresses pushed together, so it was a little bit uncomfortable where the two beds were connected/joined together.

It had a step raised (Japanese style) in the room almost made us trip every time. Also the only one mirror wasn’t elderly friendly
Everything about this hotel was great, by far the best stay of our Japanese + Taiwanese vacay. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and also cleaned every day, complete with clean towels and the floors were also vacuumed daily. The spa tub in our hotel room was awesome, we used it every night. The toilet was also separate from the shower which was brilliant and convenient. The cups were changed daily and coffee/tea/cookies were refilled daily too. The breakfast spread was wholesome with both taiwanese and western options. Overall, very good value for money. The location is slightly further from downtown Taipei but closer to Yangmingshan (if you enjoy hiking), the location is good. It's also conveniently located close to the traditional market, highly recommend you visit the local morning market Beitou. We also found good restaurants located nearby the hotel. The only improvement for the hotel is to consider having netflix in the rooms. Apart from that, everything was really good. Will consider staying here again.
The property kindly gave us an upgrade of the room to a bigger one to accommodate our family. The in-room onsen was a huge plus.
Sadly there was a small roach in the room, which we had to kill. So cleanliness needs to be reviewed.
It was an excellent location very close to the hot springs and about a 40 min drive from the mountains.The room was spacious, it came with a private sauna which was news to me!

There is no door to block air con after coming out from hot spring tub.So we feel cold after getting out of the tub.
