Guide Hotel Taipei Xinyi (HolyPro)

I booked 3 night 3 rooms , just stay 1 night in very dirty and small room , then leave even they got all my money paid. Never regret to leave!

we are glad to only stay there for 2 nights.

The address listed in the website is not a direct address to the hotel, and there are no instructions on how to get to the hotel from the address listed. Beds are extremely small, furniture in the room is outdated/old.

Lokasinya it's ok but hotel it old building, dirty, really very disapointed with the price it's expensive.

The hotel is only a short 5 minute walk to Taipei 101 station and had a family mart & 7-11 only a few steps away

The room and bathroom was large, old and a bit outdated but clean. There is no sound proofing so can be noisy from other guest of the street.

Close to metro and Taipei 101.

The room is a bit humid.

Location was brilliant: can see the 101 from bed. Great restaurant scene and close to metro. Everything was clean, but it's all quite old and worn. The room is okayish for two people. Quiet at night (except for noisy neighbors).

Bathroom and AC maybe had some mold. The bathtub/ shower tub is relatively high and accessible via one or two steep steps. Not easily accessible for people with limited mobility. Toilet needs an extra flush at times. Pillows not suitable for back sleepers in my opinion.

It was very close to the Taipei 101.

The rooms were a bit old and there was no temperature control on the AC. The room were also not really sound proof.

Absolutely nothing, poor and small room, bathroom we unacceptable, towels were a joke.

Good central location, easy to find, very helpful friendly staff. Just not very clean, but overall a good place to stay.Would recommend the superior room for a couple, we would've been unhappy with something smaller.

The hotel price is great as it's near Taipei 101 and many local shops. The fresh local bun and pastry shops nearby the hotel are very good.

I got a room just near the restaurant exhausted fan, a bit dark, unpleasant smelt, I can hear noisy outside the room when people in and out from the lift, so I place a rolled of a bath towel on the floor just behind the door to block noise and the unpleasant odour.

The room is a little bit small but it’s clean and comfortable to stay. The receptionist is accommodating and very kind.

The room was very clean and quiet, located in a good areas right by the 101 building, with lots of restaurants and coffee ☕ shops around. The tv had plenty of channels, and the WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable with good amenities provided. Overall not too bad, I've been in both better as well as worse hotels in Taipei and other parts of Taiwan. Guide Hotel Xinyi isn't too bad of a choice if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay in that section of town.

I didn't like what I consider a bit of disingenuous false advertising. I booked what was supposed to be the larger room for the slightly higher price; there's NO WAY that the room I got was that larger option. The advertisement also said there was a 'view'; the only view was the alley between and behind several buildings, where drunk bums go to pee behind the dumpsters. And despite having a reception desk with a receptionist, they have this absolutely RIDICULOUS 'self check-in machine', which you HAVE TO USE, EVEN IF THE RECEPTIONIST IS THERE... Not a feature that I EVER intend to allow to become normalized or let myself get used to. I won't be staying there again, if for no other reason than I found the self check in to be absurd and stupid, and I will go out of my way to avoid places that have that feature, even if it means paying more money for a lower quality room.

Upgrade the televesion,, lack of access, no nefflix etc if you need watching

The room was clean and the shower good.

The toilet flush was poor.

Great hotel in Taipei downtown, we got the rooms for a good price. The staff helped us at check-in, and the room was comfortable and clean.

The next metro station is a couple minutes away on foot, take that into consideration.

The room was not clean, found some hair. Photos did not reflect the overall status of the facilities, which are dated. There is a self check-in and checkout area, however the phone number provided to request assistance did not work at all and the reception is often unattended. We were told we could leave our luggage at reception until check-in, however when we arrived staff could not be located to assist. Definitely too expensive for what is offered

Not allowed to check in earlier for no good apparent reason. They were not busy cleaning the room.
