The hotel need an renevation of Some Floors I felt like I was going to go true it

The free breakfast was great!! They had a lot of options that were suitable for guests of all backgrounds.

The room was extremely outdated and looked NOTHING like the pictures we paid for. The staff was semi-accommodating but mostly unhelpful. The location was irritating as we had to be driven to the nearest station by hotel staff who stopped their services at 9pm. If you are looking for a hot spring hotel, stay somewhere else. You WILL be disappointed.

The room is spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and the service staff is warm and thoughtful。

The staff is very friendly and will pick you up from the mass transit station and drop you off there as well for free. It's nice to have your own private hot spring to fill up and use as many time and as long as you want during your stay.

The room is on the smaller side and the bathroom has a smell of sulfur from the hot spring water. The breakfast itself isn't very good but it is included which is nice.

Some confusion about the pick up point for the taxi into town

The Japanese style tatami set up for the guest room we stayed in. And the breakfast was decent.

It was pretty run down and I think I overpaid for the hotel stay. And it was definitely not a 4 star hotel. Maybe 2.

Amazing staff, super friendly & helpful. The free shuttle service to and from Xinbeitou station whenever we needed was amazing & convenient to go and get food! They gave us a free room upgrade, and the onsen & views were amazing!

Some facilities like the bathroom/shower are a little worn down, but they get the job done.

Definitely staying here again. One of the best locations in Taipei and our room had a spa tub and sauna it. Very peaceful and there is park around the corner. The city is right down the hill. The breakfast is very solid.

Staff are friendly and helpful, like the free shuttle service, breakfast was good.

Bathroom and shower room lighting needs to improve, would be better if the tiles are white instead of all black.

The recipients were so kind and nice to us ! The view of onsen was also pretty good too

Some furnitures were a bit old and oxidized.

The shuttle bus was efficient.

The onsen area was rusty. Despite the insect repellent, we still got mosquito bites. Bathroom was dark and there was mould on the tiles in the bathroom.

Overall, it was decent for what I paid, especially since I snagged a discounted rate.The best part? That in-room hot spring spa! Such a treat after walking around Taipei all day. And I have to say, the staff were absolutely fantastic - super helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The bed was really comfy too, which I always appreciate when traveling.

One thing that annoyed me was the TV remote - I couldn't get it to work from the bed unless I sat up and leaned toward the foot of the bed. Not the end of the world, but kind of frustrating when you just want to relax! Breakfast was just okay - nothing special but did the job. You can definitely tell this place needs some updating. It's marketed as a 4-star hotel, but it's showing its age in quite a few areas.

our room was big and comfortable. quite from voices. the staff was very very friendly and attentive. specially when asking for a shuttle to downtown.

we can hear the water being drained from the upper floor when they are using the tub. we stayed for 3 night, which i think wasn't normal. so the breakfast was always the same. coffee serve in the breakfast was BAD. no place to eat for dinner

The hotel requires lots of attention. Every bit of hotel needs more maintenance. The breakfast also should be better quality and less numbers of food.

The room was too dark

Having a hot spring fed tub in the room is a treat I wish everyone is lucky enough to enjoy. The bed in our room was super comfy, and the staff was very friendly. They will pick you up at the Ximending station if you call then when you arrive (there are payphones at the station).The breakfast was good.

The hot spring bath was exactly as in the website photo with a wonderful view of the mountains and surrounding houses.The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance to Thermal Valley, the Hot Spring Museum and the beautiful Library. The breakfast provided was ample and not too elaborate with the right mix of Chinese morning dishes like dim sum and Continental offerings.

The mattress was heated which should have been a real bonus. The staff were so attentive to many details but omitted to tell us about the heating feature which we could have used. The bathroom door was a bit shaky and made us worried so we had to slide it very gently.

The staff was very well trained and friendly.

Prefacing this review with 3 things.1. We checked out within 1 hour of checking in due to dissatisfaction with the facilities2. We did this while receiving NO refund3. The staff were very kind, apologetic, and well-trained. I don't blame them for this low review.I booked this hotel hoping for a nice hot springs bath. It was reasonably well reviewed on Booking, and the photos looked nice. The sleeping area is reasonably well-kept. It was likely repainted recently and is clean. However, the bathroom, shower, and hot spring tub areas were extremely dated and used very small tiles everywhere. That tile was corroded, stained, and looks VERY uninviting. The drains are all rusted out and the bench in the hot tub was not in good repair. I completely understand that natural hot springs do a lot of damage and are hard to maintain. However, I've been in several hotels that weren't nearly as worn in the same area. I called the staff to see if we could change rooms. They were kind enough to show us an upgraded room—similar situation. The sleeping areas are nicer and clean. However, it's the same small tile covering the bathroom and hot springs tub. Everything was corroded and rusted. The staff initially requested a small fee for upgrading rooms but then changed to offer the upgrade for free when we said that we'd like to check out. This could be a good weekend place to stay if the bathrooms and hot spring tubs were completely overhauled. We were not willing to step into the tubs at all, which defeated the entire purpose of booking in this area. I hope the hotel takes it seriously to upgrade the facilities.

The room was very nice and confortable, also the hot water bath was very enjoyable.

I was disappointed about not Findung the possibility of ha Ing dinner in the hotel. I read, they offer room service, but it was not so.

Very clean and friendly helpful staff. They also had a handy laundry service as well as a shuttle bus to and from mrt.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
