Saual Keh Hotel

Modern, up to date design and facilities. Very reasonable price. Convenient location. Helpful staff. I did not hear any noises from neighbors. Either the hotel has terrific sound proof or the guests were very polite and respectful.

First the air condition was noisy. They changed my room and the television shuts off automatically in the new room. The staff took care of the problems so I have no complaint. Just suggest that room facilities be checked first before guests check in.

Price is competitive.

Hotel room did not have enough lighting and Hotel staffs can't speak English. Being an international traveler and unable to speak Mandarin, it was really difficult to communicate with them.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The room was not well cleaned, it had a carpet that has seen better days. The bathroom had some hairs. It was not as nice as in the pictures. The staff managed the check in and allowed to keep our backpacks there for a few ours until check in time. But they did not speak any English which made communication difficult.

Location close to metro, vouchers for family mart

No breakfast provided but can have breakfast nearby. Many local choices within walking distance.

The hotel is a little old and run down. Some strange smell in the room.

Air conditioning was good as well wifi.

Staff didn’t speak English. We paid extra for the brakfast they didn’t have. Instead they gave us 80TWD (~2,3€) voucher per person to 7/11 two blocks away which had no heating possibilities, very limited selection and the voucher coverd basically one youghurt.

The location and transportation conviene

The breakfast was not truly included. They provided a voucher for a designated convenience store with limited selection.

It’s good that the location is near Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and there’s a nearby train station (about 5-minute walk from the property).

I think they can still improve the facilities and maybe consider hiring someone who understands and speaks English well.

NT$80 each person bought anything in 7-Eleven each day.

The room was spacious. Beds are wide. They clean the room everyday.

We needed to take the stairs from the 6F to get to the 7F. Wifi is very weak. I could get messages but couldn't load a meeting.

A hefty price per night for a smelly bedroom with an ac barely working

Location is good, between 2 MRT stations, approx 3 blocks to each station. There are a number of restaurants and family mart and a 7/11 close by.

We asked about a luggage rack, but we were told no. We had to leave our suitcases on the floor. Also a small table near the seating would be great.

Not so clean on carpet, closet, outside of toilet etc.

The location is convenient and quiet, the bathroom with bathtube, the king size bed

The AC made strange sounds sometimes.

Among those rooms equipped with spa, it's anything but common to meet such quality with such affordable price. The room was overall clean, comfortable, and the staffs were friendly as well. It also deserved compliment on letting customers know what their stay would be like through simple pictures on sites. By the way, it's also a Muslim friendly hotel, not bad and should be given a thumb up too!

Even under shadow of COVID-19, it seemed that staffs weren't pretty much aware of what their working environment was. From check-in to check-out, I did not see any staffs at front desk worked with their masks.
