The entrance to the building and elevators look very rundown and outdated

The location was fine, but all in all I would never rate this more than 5 stars.

in the winter, there’s absolutely no heating in the rooms are incredibly cold. Nothing about the rooms is really “comfortable” to be honest.It’s pretty much like a low level three star hotel.

Great breakfast with quality choices and the staff was very nice and helpful.

No ICE, but most hotels we stayed at had no ice

Amazing location in heart of the buzz of Taipei. Metro outside made it easy for travel and it was walkable to a number of key attractions. Staff were helpful, snacks provided during the day were nice touch and laundry on-site which was great. Rooms were tidy as well.

Rooms were a little on the smaller side however were functional.

Breakfast was a good variety. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit tight for a family of 4. (2 small children)

The room is not soundproof. you can hear people walking and talking all the time. We booked 2 hollywood rooms, but the room size of both look obviously different (I am not happy on this). However it's not big problem for us.

The location near Ximending is a plus. It also very near a train station that gets you all over Taipei. The hotel don't really provide the best breakfast options, but being so near Ximending and other good local breakfast spots, I really think the hotel is right in not investing too much into the breakfast option, it's quite pointless.

The size of the room is not too big, but quite acceptable given the price point for the location and the comfort level it provides. The beds and seats in the room were too soft for my liking.

The staff and the location of the hotel are excellent. The bus to Jiufeng stops almost right in front of the hotel, which is much easier than taking the train and runs every 20 minutes.

The bed is terrible for a European or American guest, or anyone taller than 180 cm. I am 182 cm tall, and my feet hung off the bed. Moreover, the mattress was so hard that our backs and lower backs hurt because we can sleep on our sides, but it's not suitable for that. The breakfast is very limited if you're not a fan of Asian cuisine.

Super location , about 3-5 minutes to Ximen station on foot. 7-11 convenience store on the ground floor. Tons of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Spacious room. Nice to have the toilet separate from the shower. Comfortable big bed. Well maintained and very clean. Very convenient to have a hot water dispenser in front of the elevators. Last but not least :Wonderful and helpful staff. Thank you for your handwritten card welcoming us to the hotel. Thank you Nancy for your detailed sightseeing tips! Also…a big thank you to Jen and the gentleman at the front desk (I’m sorry I failed to get your name ) on taking the time to help us with our card key problem at breakfast time. There seemed to be a problem with a dead battery in the lock and it needed to be replaced. The fact that the front desk staff personally accompanied me to the room twice , first to check out the problem and second to confirm that it had been fixed (as opposed to simply saying that they would have maintenance take care of it) to me indicated that they had a genuine interest in caring for the guest. I commend the management on the superb level of hospitality and professionalism expressed by your staff.

It is a bit dated but considering all of the above this was not an issue.

Very clean rooms and the cleaning team was very efficient. I’ve been sleeping in til 12pm or 1pm, and after I put out the door sign to request room cleaning, it was consistently done within two hours.

Elevators require key card to access most floors, so can invite people to visit within meeting them in the lobby.

Nice property, I would give this stay 3.5/5 stars.. It was my first time in Taiwan so don’t have any other hotels to compare with but this hotel could be a little more spacious, the pillows were not comfy.. Great location just a few mins walk to the restaurants/night market. Also their breakfast was great! New items everyday!

pillows, the “fitness center” was not great at all probably need to work on that

Very clean, close to Ximen station and very convenient. 7-11 is on the first floor. Quite large nice view room.

Since the hotel stands along the main street, a bit noisy of traffic until midnight.

The rooms were clean and well planned. Breakfast was great. Location was perfect, very near Ximen station and walking district. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back.

Great location, close to food places and just above a 7-eleven

The beds seemed comfortable initially but we soon realised there were bed bugs. The window was completely covered so essentially it was a windowless room

Liked the room design. The pitcher for water and the nearby water station is essential. We also checked out too early for the breakfast buffet so they packed us our breakfast! Nice!
