Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fishermen's Wharf

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right by the pier and walking distance to the shops and restaurant near by.

The staff was rude. Right from the start, they treated us as if we couldn't afford to stay there. We reserved for two twins and was given a king. The key cards didn't work, we had to get it replaced twice. Awful experience consider the money we paid.

Nice property with views of the river/estuary and new bridge. GREAT activities for kids and families, especially the pool. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with a nice variety of choices.

The property shows some wear inside and out. The grounds could use landacaping. The closest convenience stores are a medium length walk. There is a Starbucks close by. MRT station is driving distance. Not much to do around the hotel.

Breakfast is good and location is excellent. But only location and exterior looks with beds and furnitures making excellent would not make you 5 Stars rating. your hotel do not have good services not staff have communication skills. Most of your staff do not understand english. also staff taking too much time against simple service and he/she can not understand what customer asking and what to do next. Example I was going to check out last day and that time i tried to exchange mobile charger and adapor which i taken agains hotel given me. They took more that one hours as well as after one hours i was not received my own mobile adaptor. i have to reach my next destination so left place with our getting my mobile adaptor. After that hotel do not try to contact me nor given me status. Regarding payment that already got hotel so they not have to worry. for customers, they did not get service or facility, hotel do not care of it. There was one young man at reception given me good services and try to solved my most problem very fast. I forget name but I attached his photo with this review and comment. Other staff behaviour are good but they do not have knowledge nor trained how to behave with customer and most problem was language with them. very funny to experience in these king of hotel having 5 Stars rating and getting lots of awards but they do not know how to achieve real 5 star rating.

only Location and exterior of hotel but interior and services are 100% opposite to excellency. Services are very bad and i will never comes again due to bad service and response. I seems hotel services gave me feeling of 3 / 4 Stars rating.

The hotel is very clean and comfy. The restaurant have nice food. Have to plan your budget as expenses may be on the higher side similar to Taipei city.

Went in the low season hence not much activities around.

The breakfast is good, the room is very good size.The bed is very comfortable.

I like the idea of no bottle water but please indicate it better about where the water dispenser is. I had to call the reception to know the water dispenser is next to the room 510.I stayed at the fifth floor and my room is far away from room 510! No indicate at all.Other than no clear sign for the water dispenser, I am happy about their no water bottle policy.

The location was great with easy access to the bus and light rail which we took each day to go exploring. We would love to have visited Shalun Beach, but I couldn't get my question across to the Reception Staff about where are the places of interest to travel to. But it just showed me I should have done more research before hand.

Nice location, spacious rooms, balcony, good breakfast, pool area.

The rooms and especially the carpets seemed a bit worn.The pool was good, but there are just a few things to note. They require swim caps (bring your own or buy one for 100 TW$) and they are closed from 12-14. Hotel would let guests stay in pool area for a few hours after check-out, but because of the lunch break, that is not really an option.

Thou it's an old establishment, it is well maintained. Rooms r spacious & clean. Views r fantastic. Staffs r great! Nothing to complain.

A big, corporate type hotel with good sized rooms and comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good.

It seemed a bit of a ‘White Elephant’ stuck out on the Tamsui Wharf. There wasn’t masses to do around that area and it was too hot to amble about. The hotel seemed better set up for families and children than for adults. There was no comfortable lounge to sit in and relax. A bit disappointed with the swimming pool, it looked large in the photos but it was quite small with little shelter from the sun. A large bridge was being built across the estuary and you could hear the work during the day.

Amazing location and view and the room we had was very large and roomy with lots of amenities. The hotel has a lot of great things on-site but also loads of Fisheman's Wharf entertainment is nearby.

Pleasant hotel on the harbour, within walking distance of Lovers Bridge. Good sized room with large beds and great bathroom. Breakfast was buffet, with a good choice of food types, western and Asian. Clean, plenty of space and pleasant staff. Close enough on bus to tamsui central, nearby to lots of cafes and restaurants. Roof top pool was great.

Could have done with some drawer space for clothes, but otherwise great.

I like the food, so delicious. I also like the ambiance specially at night so relaxing,

I didn't like the air conditioning, during summer it is so humid. We couldn't even cuddle with my partner because we feel so uncomfortable coz we're sweating. Maybe will improve a little for the ventilation during summer.

Great location, great room

I found the bathtub dirty. The electric safe was malfunction and it just wont lock. This prevented me to ask for room service because there is nowhere to keep my valuable safe. And the shower head is probably a replacement and the size of the shower head is larger than the shower stand, endup the shower head keep moving itself. It just wont fit. It was a great room with great sea view but please get everything fixed, it is indeed annoying. And the buffet breakfast is great. But the buffet dinner was the worst I have ever encountered. Oh and the VR centre is a joke. Nothing is actually powered on. it looks like to me that everything is broken in this hotel.

It’s potential

Appalling hotel. Could be good but almost spoilt in every way... the reception of what they claim is a 5 star hotel has been made to look like a camp site- all facilities are not at all like they look in the pictures - staff have no idea what guests want. The only option for evening food, doesn’t open until 9pm - despite what it say on the menu. It’s all such shame that this location ha sheen so ruined by bad management - same can be said for the whole of Fisherman’s Wharf - which could be great but is now nothing more than a good view with poor restaurants and shops- mostly now shut.
