    Pros +

    • the location is good, the room is comfy and enough for the money paid.
    • Wonderful location, easy to reach from Longshan station. Quiet rooms overlooking Longshan Temple walls (3rd floor) but close to everything you need! Great night market to explore just across the road, easy access to transit options to explore the city. Excellent value for money!
    • Truly an excellent location and the view of the temple outside the window is incredible. Also, the person at the front desk was super nice. We would definitely stay here again. Also the Wi-Fi worked well for us.

    Cons -

    • the wifi is very bad, mostly if you stay at the 3rd floor, consider that there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep and early morning you are awaken by the temple prayers, but overall for the money its a good choice.
    • Not really a problem, just good to be aware that there is not an elevator so be ready to heft your luggage up 2 or 3 flights of stairs! The double rooms we had were comfortable for a single person but would definitely be very tight with 2 people and luggage!Mattress was a little firm for my preference.
    • maybe the area wasn't as popular as ximending nor as trendy, more local so some people might not be into that, but it didn't bother us. There was still a good night market just across the road. There was a park nearby where a lot of old people hang out which seemed like a strange vibe, but it also didn't bother us.

pretty cool location right across from the temple, we had a great view of it being at the top- although some other rooms may not have had a great view. The room had everything you needed and was very nice, clean. the stairs weren't a problem for us. Reception was super helpful and kind.

For the money, you cannot complain! It is not the Ritz, for sure. But, it's clean enough, comfortable, excellently located and home to very friendly staff.

The bathroom did smell a little like drains, particularly while showering.

Great location in a quiet space behind the temple that allowed sleeping with windows open and waking up to the sound of monks chanting. Evening staff was great. Bed was comfy. Hot water and bathroom were fine.

Room is small and basic. Hard to find breakfast places open at 7am in the area.

The location couldn’t be better for a downtown stay. An easy walk to the MRT, a bustling night market, and many shops. It is right next to the Lungshan Temple – Open your windows in the morning and you will hear the chanting! My room on the 3rd floor was well sound insulated, besides the hotel is off the street so the noise is less. The room is a bit small, but for a solo or budget traveler it works just fine. The hotel is kept clean and the two male receptionists were very helpful. Sadly the young lady was quite grouchy. The place felt safe and clean so for a budget hotel this is a good stay. After checkout I was able to store my bags and get lunch before leaving.

The two male receptionists were very helpful. Sadly the young lady was quite grouchy. The wifi wasn't working outside of the office and she refused to address the problem. My room never had wifi.Don't be misled, the lead photo is of the Temple, not this hotel.

Not very accommodating, requested early check in and upon arrival a very grumpy receptionist told us not before 3pm. Coffee making facilities very lacking

Good location, a quiet room, pleasant staff who were helpful and spoke good English, complimentary water and instant coffee in the morning

Cleanliness was a minor issue in places due to old building, TV and other amenities were in disrepair

    7LauraPosted on: 3-19-2025

Position and view from the window

Aircon didn’t work, mattress a little hard but ok, no staff around

Great location near Longshan Temple Station and 4 night markets. Good price for the room size and location.

There is only one reception staff manning two hotels and he is mostly at the other one.

Free water dispenser Very close to the metro and bus station and night markets

    8DavidPosted on: 2-25-2025

The location was super, it was comfortable and the shower was good. Staff member helped me and went above and beyond when I stated an issue, really helped.

Room was next to a noisy area - but staff gave me earplugs to help. No housekeeping - but I was informed that I needed to ask for this, but the staff member helped a lot

Our room on the top floor was looking right onto the Longshan temple's inside, so we really loved the view. Also due this we could hear the chantings every morning which we did not mind at all, but if you're a bad sleeper, keep this in mind. Good connection to the metro and Huaxi night market also just a few minutes away.

    7FleurPosted on: 11-12-2024

The location is great if you are using public transport. Right next to an train exit and near a night market

I found it soothing but be prepared for a lot of buddhist chanting, youre literally at the rear of the temple.

Good staff and location, clean room and bulding

    The room smelled damp
