The one of the staff at the front desk was ok except a gentle man with green polo shirt was very very nice. He answered all questioned I had. He was very professional. He greeted every customer with kind word. He made sure customers fell welcome.20 mins walk to a Japanese mall ( Mitsukoshi mall) 10 min walk to night market.

Bed was too hard to sleep. The hotel isn’t close to main station like other reviews said. I had to take a cap from main station to the hotel.

Was surprised how hard the beds were, they were the hardest of our whole stay in Taiwan. And they only gave one pillow per person… for what we paid, the rooms just didn’t seem worth it.

Room carpet was dirty & so there are stains in bathroom

The rooms were spacious and well maintained.

The breakfast was disappointing and when we asked if we could hang on to the room for an extra 30 mins before our airport taxi arrived on checkout we were told a flat no.

Nice comfortable rooms and property located in good location . There is Starbucks below the hotel and night market is walking distance . Taipei main station is just 10 mins drive from property . Hotel is clean and beds are separate but joined together and comfortable . Staff is polite and helpful . Overall very good experience . Value for money

Stains on walls here and there a sits an old property but well maintained

Nice hotel with spacious room and bath room. Really fabulous bed. Fabulous neighbourhood with street food market around and many merchants. Supermarket across the street and many restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was very kind to us, especially when we arrived. Parking in the basement.

Moist had attacked the room underneeth the window in the room and it should have been cleaned up and painted

Great hotel with nice spacious room. Bathroom was nice as well. Very serviceminded staff. Great location near streefood markets and with plentiful shopping possibilites in the neighbourhood.

The size of the room. And the new fittings in the toilet and the Japanese style heated toilet seat.The salad and fruits and pickled vegetables at breakfast were good

Lift is slow

The location is good. There are shops,restaurants nearby and Carrefour just across the street. The staff at the front desk are helpful and attentive.

The hand towels are very small and short. There are very limited toiletries.

Location and staff helpful and friendly. Great size room. Location is great fir shops and markets. MTR 5 mins walk and taxis easy enough to get and cheap. Uber operates here. Starbucks right next door.

Breakfast as there wasn't a great variety. They would not make me an alternative to boiled eggs. Needs a bit more variety for those who like eggs for breakfast. They ran out of a number of things and I had to ask a few times for them to obtain some more food. Fruit choice wasn't good.

Very old and shabby hotel, rather unpleasant experience

I am surprised to see that this hotel has a rating of above 8, it should be closer to 6, especially for the price they charge. The hotel is really old, the carpet is extremely dirty and should have been changed years ago. We paid extra money to have a window in the room and this window was in the shower cabin (!) so had practically zero value. We made a mistake to book this hotel for New Year and the moment we saw the room we went down to the reception and asked to cancel our reservation so that we could find another hotel cause pictures were completely misleading but they refused to cancel it for free so we were forced to stay. They haven’t even tried to compensate for this horrible experience by at least upgrading the room or offering complementary breakfast, staff showed zero understanding and the lady on the reception was borderline rude

It's central to everything. Although the MRT station is a bit of walk. We took taxi/uber most of the time. Bus station is right across the street, took it one time to go straight to National Palace Museum which was convenient. There is a famous night market within 5 to 8 min walk, went couple times, very nice.The hotel breakfast has nice spread. The restaurant is well maintained. Props to that. The hotel itself looks very dated, it's not a 4 star hotel...maybe 3 or 3.5 at best. We got the triple room which is roomy for 3 of us. The restroom, we can see some metal rusts in the corner. Overall, good average stay.

The staff serving the breakfast section is good.

Some of the light switches at my room didn't work. Lucky that the staff fix at the second day.

Everything was perfect! So lucky to have chosen this hotel for our 4night stay! Location was great, only 5-7mins walk from MRT station, transpo systemIs amazing in taipei so you can easily access anywhere you wanna go. Staff shown top tier service, everyone was polite helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Kudos to the entire team. Breakfast was sufficient and has variety.More on location: has starbucks beside, and carrefour across. 5min walk to A night market. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice hotel that let us keep our bikes in the lobby. Very helpful and friendly staff.

In two stays, I never figured out how to have a shower without water ending up on the bathroom floor.
