Merryday Hotel Banqiao

Clean and convenient. Accessible to all , like convenient store, fast food,night market, shopping mall and transportation.

Location is pretty good, near metro and walkable from HSR station.

The sound proof is so bad. I woke up due to sound at 2 am and again at 4 am.

Convenient location. Close to the MRT, a night market, and Lin family mansion and garden. Good breakfast spread.

Location was great. Breakfast was delicious variety of simple Chinese dishes. Very filling. It was raining and the hotel provides umbrellas to use. Subway system is near by and lots of shopping as well as food options available in the area. They allow people to use the breakfast area all day to meet with friends or enjoy takeout which was nice. Good choice for budget friendly people.

Rooms with two twin beds are small. If traveling with large suitcases, it’s hard to lay them flat to pack.

Near mrt

BED MITES at room 603 left me and my friends with bad allergies and rashes. They moved us to a different room and it was better fortunately.

The room and the bathroom are small. The breakfast is simple. I like the guava in the breakfast

Lovely staff. Big room. Nice shower.. Perfect location. Close to Fuzhong train station. Lots of places close by with delicious food. The bar was well stocked with local beer.

room was clean, near the MRT station. WiFi was good. Plenty if plugs to charge things.

Just a little small, but but not unusual in this area. Not micro. Could be considered cozy for a short stay.

Good water pressure in the walk in shower. Bath tub a plus. Good location near to subway.

Felt run down, especially the lobby area and building entrance. Breakfast was not good. Very overpriced for what was on offer.

- Rooms have no heating, despite the air conditioner showing a heat setting.- Views are fantastic after the cleaner has come, but once you've been in the room a little while, it gets so damp you can't see out the window (as per my pics)- The dampness seems to be a common problem, with mould under the bench against the window - it appears as though it's been painted over a few times.- Despite having one child with us on the booking, the hotel would only provide two towels, even when asking for a third for the baby. The staff could only recommend that we go outside and buy a new towel for our child.- No amenities in the room (toothpaste etc.) This needs to be purchased at the front desk for $100ntd, but what was provided was not enough for a 5 night stay.

The hotel room appears clean at first, but under all of the bed, there were many trash left by the people that stayed there before us. The cleaners didn't clean the room properly. The heater is not functional during cold weather. The only good thing about staying here is that it is very near FuZhong MRT station.

So close to the metro and some food chains. Also near Family mart. Price per room is also okay. Budget friendly.

Sometimes wifi is slow.

Noisy as room not sound-proof - can hear the other guests; at 2:30am I got woken up by a deafening sound - something that sounded like people were trying to close a metal roller door right outside the room

Absolutely nothing.

CP ratio is super low. I booked a double room for TWD2195 and the room is super small. The hotel itself looks like a cheap and low class motel, the lobby looks old and ugly, and is located on second floor of the building (which means you need to take a lift ride to level 2 of the building before you get to meet the hotel staff). The worst part is that, the hotel room is so small that you can't even open your luggage properly! We had to use the walkway space to open our luggage and then it hindered us from walking around the room! I booked another hotel in Taipei (near Taipei Main Station), the cost was similar but it was so so so much better. And also, Merryday hotel does not provide breakfast!!! The other Taipei hotel I stayed in, provided good buffet breakfast.

Clean room, water stocked, and sheets changed every day. Absolutely loved the breakfasts, and the staff was very helpful when I locked myself out. It was in a safe area and super convenient to go around the city from there as it was right outside a metro station on probably the most important line of the system.

The standard room was not big enough for two to open 2 check-in and 2 carry-on suitcases at the same time. The shower was not spacious either.

Near train station and shops. Easy ro find location. There are restaurants and convenient stores outside.

Staffs cannot communicate well.

Yes, the hotel management was very kind. I could have my vegan breakfast . I was feeling so blessed when I could have porridge , some vegan dish like fried vegetables . Tough the choices are not many , it was enough for me . Thanks so much. Moreover , there are also washing machine and dryer . Very near to MRT STATION, Fuzhong MRT station. Would stay again for my next trip if visiting Taiwan again .

Comfortable. Room a bit small but there are spaces to perform prayer. Toilet has bidet. Can wait for bus near in front of hotel. Easy to go anywhere. Mrt station is also walking 1 minute. I went to juifen n shifen by using bus in front of hotel. They clean my room everyday n also gave mineral water bottle everyday and changed towel everyday. Greatt.

The hotel staff are friendly, and the free laundry service on the 8th floor is very thoughtful. You can use the washing machines and dryers from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. to do your laundry.The hotel is close to the MRT, convenient to get around m

The hotel room's soundproofing is quite poor; noise of conversations and doors closing is easily heard. The room is quite small, making it a bit difficult to move around.

Location is very convenient to bus stops, subway and Banqiao train station, many shops and restaurants.

1. Lighting switches for the room are not conveniently fixed on one side of the bed and not within reach for short arm people. 2. Toilet light and ventilator are controlled by same switch; so impossible to leave the ventilator on at night as the bright light shines onto the bed. 3. No wardrobe to hang clothes; so can only hang onto hooks on the wall.
