Taipei 101 Sparkle Hotel

The location is excellent and the rooms are very spacious.

It was extremely noisy. The walls must be paper thin. Every time a hotel door shut in the hallway, my bed shook. When someone turned their shower on, it was loud enough that it sounded like it was my shower. The business above the hotel was very loud too.

Close to 101 and food across street in mall. Right on top of a metro station.

Far from most of the action. Lacked food choices except mall.

Location

We ordered a non-smoking room, which may have been the case, but it still smelled very heavy of tobacco smoke. Could just be the building ventilation but either way, if you’re sensitive to smoke smells, stay somewhere else.

Its very central. Breakfast had a variety to choose from.Cheap.Real towels Tiny washer and dryer perfect for a few small items.

Room didn't have a view.Basement hotel.Dimly lit passage.

The location and cleanliness were excellent. The staff was helpful.

Breakfast could have included a few more options, for instance yogurt and more fruit.

Close to the mall

Basement, dark, we had a hard time finding the place because it’s in basement area. From the street you find this old small elevator then no sign from there to go to reception of the hotel. I will not recommend this place. Staff not helpful and no smile like you feel like not welcome to stay.

The location was really good and the staff was helpful with booking taxi for the airport.

Had a hard time with my room key, had to get the staff to help me open it twice. And even after the batteries were changed, it was still very finicky. Also, one night, the rain was really strong and the ceiling started leaking. I left a cup out to catch the water and I told the front desk the next morning. Later that evening, the cup was left out and not cleaned up.

The location is right beside Taipei 101,With the subway station just in-front of the hotel, the room is ample size, bathroom is good size, breakfast is good with congee and American breakfast and coffee…

The hotel has no hot water on our first day, we stayed for 2 nites, but the compensated by giving us a discount.

Terrible experience, we cancelled the last 2 days reservation and re- booked to another hotel.

Customer having very loud music sounds like having a concert at 2 AM, complained to the staff and did not get any response. Extremely unprofessional and short staff usually there is nobody at the front desk. It’s kind of scary people store their luggage is at the front desk could be easily stolen.. I told the staff that I was not able to sleep due to the music the night before , staff just look at me has no response. Mattress are super hard, I had a backache next morning.

loved the central location and the oasis of comfort right next to Xinyi shopping area. woild be heaps better if only there was no smoking indoors but ah well.

New to 101 mall and tower

WIFI was very bad, Breakfast was terrible, Bathroom and washbasin was separated, Hotel was under grand, Lift was very slow

Booking via Booking.com is not safe, it was hacked and took your money ...be aware of this matter!

Breakfast was good.The hotel did not have hot water or heat. The Internet was less than desirable. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The interior could be brighter and less drab. The great location makes up for other deficiencies.
