    Pros +

    • During our family vacation with an 11 yo, we stayed at 4 hotels around Taiwan. Asia Pacific Beitou was far and away our fave, despite staying at "fancier" and spendier places like the Shangri-la Taipei. I am not being paid for my opinion btw (I wish).
    • It’s not really worth the money, specially if you only go one night to relax. It’s a very family oriented hotel, staff is super friendly and easy going. Shoutout to the housekeeping staff, she was very welcoming. But all in all, the hotel doesn’t offer much besides the hot spring if you’re an adult. Rooms were ok, no special anything really… and for the price, I’ve had much much better but I think you could expect more than just “a room” and breakfast. Would look elsewhere if you’re a couple trying to chill for a night or two.
    • The attendants working the game room and pool were so nice and dealt with our small kids so well despite them being a little wild. So nice

    Cons -

    • Others are right about the breakfast being a little wanting. The western breakfast options were odd. We don't eat mac and cheese for breakfast even in the US! Give me more Taiwanese breakfast options any day.
    • Hotel gym would be nice
    • Pool was cold, but understandable

The hotel is a top choice for those seeking a blend of convenience, comfort, and hot spring luxury in Beitou. Its location, in-room spa amenities, and overall quality make it stand out. It’s especially ideal if you want to unwind in private or enjoy varied communal spa options. The staffs were very nice and professional!

The private hot spring, Japanese style room layout, bidet, facilities, breakfast and the staff

    Pool was cold, but understandable

    7GeokPosted on: 5-2-2025

the room was clean and neat, the hot spring pool was big and spacious, the amenities were adequate

the mattress for the tatami room was too thin and hard. it made sleeping uncomfortable.the tatami room was a little tight, when we came in with 2 medium sized suitcases, there was literally no space to walk

    8AgatePosted on: 4-29-2025

The room was great well isolated and cozy. Service was fast, good location for beitou main attractions.

There was no information about the facility placement at the hotel, when checking in they also didn’t inform me about anything, I had to find out myself. The metro station is quite far.

It is a great hotel to stay if you go Beitou or Xinbeitou The onsen available inside the room is so convenient. Public pool available and lot of facilities inside. An indoor swimming pool suitable for family with young kids. Very convenient to get the bus pick up at Beitou station. Staff is very friendly. The bus driver is very helpful and friendly. Thank you. I will recommend you to stay there.

The property was beautiful. They upgraded our room to a room with the private onsen and we loved it. It was nice to run a bath with the hot springs water and relax after a long day of exploring Taipei. We also enjoyed utilizing the public hot spring which included 5 different hot spring baths with varying temperatures. They also had a swimming pool and an area you can do VR but we just didn’t have the time to utilize those amenities. Beautiful scenery around the hotel too.

The location was a bit out of the way from everything. Required either a taxi or the hotel shuttle bus which comes once an hour to pick up guest from either the Beitou or Xinbeitou station.

big room with in room hot spring is a bonus

Hotel on the hill, but hotel does provide shuttle bus every hour

    9KelvinPosted on: 4-16-2025

I love the hot spring tub, the beds and pillows, and the small little place for us to have our tea and meals. and last but not least the gaming area and swimming at level 1, that's the best!!!

The steep and narrow slope with two way traffic up the hotel is the most interesting part, to test my driving skills.

    10EduardoPosted on: 4-16-2025

The staff is amazing, they helped us book a tennis court and had excellent communication skills, the room was excellent, clean, and comfortable

The public baths are outdated, the texture of the baths are very strange. The temperatures of the cold bath are not cold enough and not enough variance with the hot baths.

    5MariPosted on: 3-28-2025

Lack of politeness and respect. I was woken up at 7:30 by the receptionist who called to ask me if I had smoked a cigarette in the room because the smoke detector had apparently gone off. However, I had not smoked and after the technician came, it turned out that the alarm was false. No word of apology for this accusatory call.

    10MashaPosted on: 3-22-2025

The bathtub, hot spring pool, VR games.

    6LyudmilaPosted on: 3-16-2025

The room was cozy, the breakfast was delicious, the stuff was friendly.

The view from the corner room wasn’t great, the bathrobe with a hole, the top of the mirror in the bathroom had some dust. The coffee table wasn’t stable.

    8CristinaPosted on: 3-3-2025

The room is very spacious and very clean. The hot spring bath was fantastic with a nice tea area, robes and tea provided, to make the experience very enjoyable. We had a great time.

    The breakfast could be better.

    8JOANPosted on: 2-26-2025

Nice design and peaceful location near the mountain and walking distance to Beitou museum. Convenient Bus from xinbeitou station.

Kids under 12 years old are not allowed at the Public hot springs!! Bring your swimming caps if planning to use the indoor pool (where water is kind of cold and closes so early at 19.00 …). Food and breakfast are okayish … It is not the property’sfault, but the public road and stairs down to Thermal Valley is a bit “unwelcoming” …

    9JunPosted on: 2-9-2025

clean comfortable rooms with private hot spring in room and public hot springs separated by male and female sections. Great hotel for families, we will definitely stay at Asia Pacific Hotel Beitou at our next taipei trip

    TV connection issues

    10AndrewPosted on: 2-3-2025

    Cleanliness and the public hotspring.

Late check in 4:00pmThe room was smaller than my expectations.

    10XwPosted on: 2-2-2025

The large stone bath was undoubtedly the highlight of this location - very well-maintained and you get to soak with a nice view all to yourself. Do note that if you're sensitive to the smell of Sulphur it may be harsher considering it's indoors, but the extraction fan did a great job as the smell does not get into the rest of the room. The location is a little far out and uphill, so walking there may not be a great idea - make use of the shuttle bus. Rooms are clean and well-sized, breakfast has a decent variety, and the staff has been nothing but helpful and kind.

    Nothing comes to mind.
