Location and the helpful staff. I especially appreciate the gentleman working in the overnight shift who was very friendly and helped me to load my luggage on the morning I left.

The wall is thin and sometimes you may hear noises from the next door.

I liked how close this was to the Pearson's Testing Center across the street. There is also a 7-11 nearby for food, but restaurants are going to be at the MRT station about 5 minutes walking away.

I requested a quiet room and the staff immediately put me in a room facing the main, busy road with a huge window. It was incredibly loud, and when I requested a different room, they did immediately move me. However, the new room was quiet and a huge downgrade in quality. The room was tiny and had a weird door from the bathroom out to the hallway that only had a latch and no proper lock on it.

Location is decent, convenient.

A bit too small and a large luggage will really bother you in the room.

This is such a great small boutique hotel in a great location. I was a short 10 min walk to the subway and there was plenty of food options and two 7-11 stores and a family mart all within 5 mins walk. I also rented a bike and they found a place to store it inside the front of the building for the night before I left on my cycling trip.

Could do with a little more sound proofing, as you could hear lots of doors being slammed when people enter their rooms, although this is quite common at hotels.

Close to a major highway, very noisy, hard to fall asleep

Location is convenient, adjacent to the train station.

There’s no elevator to the 8th floor, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. The staircase is quite narrow, making it difficult to transport luggage when checking in and out. Most of the staff are friendly, except for one lady at the front desk in the early morning—she never smiles, and I found her quite rude.The washroom has some rusty metal along the sink basin, mirror, and shelf. The shower in our room was extremely tiny—our friend had a double room, and his shower was noticeably larger than ours.Lastly, the hotel is located on a busy road with no stopping zone, making it difficult to flag down a cab right outside. We usually had to walk 1–2 blocks to find a taxi or Uber

It's the location. I took my PTE exam just across the inn. It was the best location! I stayed there for a night since I need to be in the testing center early. Sooooo, I recommend this place if you are gonna go there to take your Pearson exam.

The walls. They are very thin. You can hear them or they can hear you.

Location is good. Not far from the station where has the bus to airport.Room was nice and clean. It’s fit for 3 persons with luggage.There is an elevator to 7th floor, but unfortunately we got the room in 8th floor.

Shower area is a bit tiny

The property is well located, accesible for several shops and MTR station just on a walking distance, the room is the same as showed before booking, the staff is friendly and the room is clean all the time.

Elevator not provided to the 8th floor, I was carrying my luggage to level 7 and use the elevator. I think that's something to get improved but not sure if it could happening considering the design of the building.

I give this place a high rating not because it offers a luxurious getaway with fancy amenities, no. I give it a high rating because at this price and in this location, the value simply cannot be beat. Rooms are very small, but clean and have all the essentials, and have minimal and quirky decor. Staff are really friendly and seem to love meeting people. There is a really cool little speakeasy/jazz bar attached to the hotel as well, and you get a discount if you stay at the hotel. This hotel is absolutely perfect for young tourists and backpackers looking for a budget stay to explore the vibrant heart of the city. I had a great time here!

My room was very narrow, very small window, felt like a closet. This is a pity because they had better rooms too

We loved the interior, it had everything we needed and even more - free coffee in the entrance accessible at all times. The staff was very friendly and the location suberb. The price was super fair for what you got!

The windows looked directly out onto the motorway/street, and you could see just Taipei 101 if you looked up the street. Because the room is so small, it's best to close the curtains for privacy - the bed is right by the window.I liked the stone sink, it was quite stylish.Modern toilet.Water, cups and kettle provided.Toiletries are available downstairs.

It was hard to control the water temperature in the shower.The metal surfaces are warped beneath the paint in the bathroom.There is a tiny step in the black tiles to mark the shower, which is easy to stub your toe or hurt your foot on.The halls echo and the door is thin, so noise carries in the halls.The TV had very low volume.

I love the blue cat casette paintins on the walls of my room! The bathroom/shower was super nice and modern style decorated.The room is small but still big enough to put my bags down and open them up without any problems.Location is very nice its about 10-15 minute walk to the main bar and club area and the 101 tower.Staff was really nice and helpful and fund to talk to.

10 mins walk from 101 and exhibition centre. There are shopping malls and restaurants near by and long distance bus centre just opposit to the building. newly renovated. great place for solo traveler.

The room was so small that couldn't have enough space to open suitcase. Mouldy bathroom and the door was rusty.

Clean! Close to all cool stores! Close to 7-11 and the bus/train station.
