    Pros +

    • The hotel was in an excellent location, very close to Sanduo shopping district & MRT, easy to get around, plus the LRT aboveground tram loop was a simple walk away. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and with great comfortable beds and pillows. The reception area had a really fabulous smell to it! The breakfast although slightly limited was enough. Would highly recommend staying here.
    • too overrated
    • Good location. Excellent Japanese food at the Slow Snail Restaurant a 15 minute walk.

    Cons -

    • I would struggle to say anything here......
    • The description was sea view but we mostly just saw ugly buildings in front of us and tiny bodies of water . Pool was small and the spa area as well. One time during breakfast we had to stay outside because it was full . Generally, the whole location (Khaosiong) is not really that interesting for the hotel to charge so much ( TWD 15,000 per night)
    • No complaints

Lots of space and comfortable beds. We were renting a car after our stay and had arranged a ride to the rental company with the hotel. They called a little while later and made sure that somebody was helping us. That level of service was very appreciated.

The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. The facilities are beautiful. Our room was spacious and very well equipped. Great location.

The top over the top. Highly recommend. Great location, great service, and very very clean!!Also they install the filter water in every room which is over the moon!! I just loved Silk club sooo much!!The only hotel I will stay whenever I visit Kaohsiung.

the artifacts are fascinating to me and the interior design shows the great tastetake a close look, the founder was exhibited in the lobby in a different way

the snack/meal should be better at this level

Beautiful, large, quiet room with all facilities and conveniences. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. We felt it was good value for money. Door and reception staff very helpful and friendly.

Nothing really! We were provided vouchers for the 3rd floor Japanese restaurant but there was only space in the Kaiseki restaurant which we didn't fancy after looking at the menu. Staff tried to accommodate us but we decided not to eat there eventually. Instead, we later went to the bar on 28th floor with again fantastic staff and great views. We billed these drinks to the room but were told these were free when we checked out.

Beautiful large room, comfortable bed and not busy.

    10MarcellinaPosted on: 2-6-2025

The room is big and spacious with a large walk-in wardrobe and digital safe. The bathroom was long, wide, well-lit, with double-sinks. A long shoe horn was provided, as well as two large artsy coffee table books that were an interesting flip-thru.

Given the price and the luxurious appearance of the hotel, it was a bit odd that no toiletries were provided (i.e., shower cap, cotton buds, disposable toothbrushes, etc.), nor bath robes. Facilities-wise, a bit lacking, despite there being a short pool.

    10CPosted on: 1-11-2025

Spacious clean room and the bathroom is luxurious. The room is very tastefully decorated and we enjoyed a good night sleep with good beddings.

Staff were very professional but also friendly and welcoming

The pool was too cold , and the bar required a minimum spend ! The breakfast was also ridiculously expensive so we didn’t use these facilities unfortunately

Beautiful thoughtfully designed facilities with a clean new look. Many things together created a wonderful experience, eg. big rooms with a couch area, daily fruit and snacks, teapot and Nespresso machine, a sliding door between bathroom and bedroom area, soft close drawers, the size of the bath, the bidet with automatic open/close and flush. I loved the beds - comfortable firm supportive mattresses and the most soft huggable duvets - and big beds each in a twin room. Lovely staff - from the front door welcomers always making sure you take care on the steps or offering you an umbrella, to the cleaners who even took note to empty the bin but leave the plastic bag I was using so I could re-use it. Special thanks to Esther at reception who helped us last-minute book a driver and even printed out an itinerary recommendation for us. The car itself had big windows, plenty of legroom and was stocked with water. Thank you also to Tina for recommendations, especially in the typhoon season. The gym and restaurant staff were also very happy to give us a tour of their areas as well. We made good use of the sauna, hot bath, swimming pool, and gym.Overall, we absolutely loved it. Always looked forward to coming back to rest after exploring Kaohsiung. My mother rated it six stars!

Nothing! The price might be the issue for future stays. Will admit, I wouldn’t have booked this place if it wasn’t for a decent discount.

Service at Silks Club was very impressive, including the info from the concierge, sundowner drinks around the pool and easy check-out. Breakfast was extensive and we liked the choice of a Japanese breakfast so not just a random buffet. Parking was great and included in our rate. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was especially nice.

Room rate was definitely in the 5 star category. Location was easy to drive to although not especially close to anything.

Staffs were fabulously kind and perfectional, love the atmosphere in the hall was elegant, peace and beautiful fragrance surrounding, the room was absolutely comfy and relaxed.

Only one thing was the staff who accepted my check-in was too nervous, then didn’t mention if I had breakfast included or not, but it’s okay, her attitude I like it, I had a responsibility to asked not totally her fault. Most of things were all match my expectations I couldn’t find any disadvantages to be honest!

Great beds - Amazing sleep and very nice facilities. The staff were so nice and professional, a 5 star service.

Nothing! I havent got a bad word to say

This was the finest hotel we have ever stayed in!!! Amazing room, the photos do not do justice to this room. The room is huge and the bathroom is one of the biggest we have seen. The bed was heavenly, such a great sleep was had by all! This is a hotel that we will come back to again, one not to miss. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to a shopping centre (you will find the best hot pot here) train and bus. The staff are lovely. Hotel is an absolute 10+

The wooden floor. The friendliness of the staff.

A bit expensive. The charging station next to the bed is not convenient.
