Legend Hotel Pier 2

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location.

We stayed four nights in one room and then booked a different room for the fifth night and they made us checkout at noon and check back in at 3pm--no exceptions. I understand they have protocols, but it seemed a bit extreme.

The location was great- it's central to shops and restaurants and walking distance to the pier and the metro. The room was comfy and breakfast was great. Also loved the laundry room. So easy to do laundry quickly and efficiently. Very good value for money.

No pool

Good breakfast with mix of meat and vegetarian options. Room was good size and decorations were creative. Kid loved having own specially decorated bed. Room has free water, soda, tea, and instant noodles. Game room and good laundry facilities in basement. Nice lounge with coffee and popcorn on 2nd. Walking distance to many attractions and station but may not be walking distance for people with small children or disabilities. Water pressure in shower was amazing.

Some guests were noisy and yelled a lot in their rooms and in hallways. People above us stomped on the floor (our ceiling) until late at night.

There's a spacious cozy lounge on the second floor with sofas and cushions where you can help yourself to hot drinks and pop corn while watching TV. There's also a microwave oven for heating up food.

Good budget option. The location is close to MRT and the cool Pier 2 art center. The art center was buzzing on a Christmastime Sunday afternoon when I arrived. The lounge area has kitchen stuff plus snacks in the evening. The basic room was nice enough and the breakfast well timed with a large dining area. Always good to have an ice coffee every morning. The check in staff was friendly and held bags until 4pm check in. I did not use the in house laundry or game area.

There was a slight sewage smell of trains without a trap from bathroom.

The location is very convenient and the room is very clean. Staffs are also friendly.

The noise from the road and the door. When people closed the doors very loudly, u could hear very clearly.

Centrally located and beautifully decorated hotel with friendly and helpful staff. All the usually amenities are there for you. Walking distance to The famous Pier 2 with the art museum, rail museum, The Kaohsiung Music Centre, Lotus Pond and many others. Short train ride to the famous Farmosa Boulevard Train station Dome of Light.

Great value for your money. It was the second time staying here. The room was clean and spacious, and it was wonderful that it had daily breakfast included. It is close to Pier 2 which is the art district of Kaohsiung so walking around there was very pleasant.

There wasn't anything negative.

The hotel was not perfect, but it is almost perfect...the location is very accessible. The staff are friendly. They have a room for you to work on while waiting for your room with coffee and popcorn. Wifi is very strong. The water pressure in the bathroom was perfect. Wish they had bidet in all rooms but I guess this is something they can improve on.

Bidet will make things easier for the guests.

Excellent location- near piers, KMRT and tramway. Room spacious with excellent lighting, refrigerator, snacks. Bathroom large and up to date. Washer/Dryer in basement along with Entertainment Zone (playroom). Decor (walls, floors and elevators) covered with storybook characters- charming..Buffer breakfast very good.

Needs a light refreshing. It would be good if staff spoke some English.

Very comfortable bed, wonderful shower, breakfast is amazing and the common spaces are really well thought out plus the whole hotel is just adorable.

Good location, near Pier 2 and the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet, even though our room faced the street. Good breakfast. Bonus: laundry facility in the basement.

Location is convenient for Music Center access. Good breakfast. Complimentary snacks.

The breakfast spread was very generous; food was good. We love thee lounge- very spacious and comfortable, offers complimentary coffee, nice place to relax while we waited for check in time. Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Hotel provided complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea and snacks in the room. Room and bathroom were clean. Location is near MRT, LRT, restaurants, art center, and the pier!

Check in time was ta 4pm (later than most hotels); Room did not have cabinet. But these are not major issues for us.

Clean rooms, polite personal. Breakfasts are great!

The facilities and the close distance to pretty much everything must see and do in Kaohsiung ?? Oh! I also love that it has lounge and laundry room. ?
