The breakfast was excellent with both western and Asian choices. The Asian choices were a wonderful giving visitors a chance to experience food culture.

excellent breakfest，extremely nice and courtesy staff to the point that we were very moved by the services they provided. The hotel shower system is superb and extremely comfortable！ Plus it is really a good value as well！

the only thing is that we did not get a room with window but it is still very comfortable and quiet.

Location is great, direct train from Airport and centrally located. Staff were very attentive and polite.

The bed is on the soft side but thats a personal preference. The fridge was not cold, its not even cool. Unable to buy drinks because of this.

Good hotel. Could not accommodate early check-in or getting me a shaving kit delivered to my room. But did get a 1h late check out. And all spoke decent English. Which is a major plus for Taiwan.

Utterly disappointed

One of the biggest issue was the room cards issued. It only works for a day and the staff gave different versions on why the cards don’t work. I stayed for about 4-5 nights and I had to go down to the receptionist to change the card almost everyday. The other issue was the staff. They are not able to identify if a situation is urgent enough. For minor issues like getting a receipt, they delayed our dinner and other guests looked at us in disgust, like we were hogging on to the lift.The staff refused to let my sister to run after her children as there are still some outstanding bills. My nieces also got lost on the day of check out. The rooms were under my name and I have yet to check out.

Everything! LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY, very spacious room with working desk, extra large Kingsbed, huge bathroom, Japanese toilet (+++), beautiful design and all in all very comfortable and enjoyable to be in the room. Room service was very friendly and kind.

The bed pillows could have been softer.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern and artistic touch that creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The location is perfect, just steps away from Central Park MRT station, making it convenient to explore the city.A special mention goes to the amazing staff at reception – they were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality truly elevated the experience.The suite is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rooftop bar offers stunning city views, and the breakfast selection was delicious with plenty of variety.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung – it's an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The windows were not sound proof - could hear the traffic at night. Air-conditioning centrally controlled. Pillows were uncomfortable. No laundry facilities for hotel guests to use.

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Tbh I kinda chose this hotel because they have a Nespresso machine in every room. We travel with our own capsules when we can. But I loved everything at this hotel. It has character and charm and a very clear design aesthetic that is aligned with Kaohsiung as a port city or maritime hub. Every bit is beautifully curated. The room design of a large dual entry into a dressing area/washroom, separate toilet and bidet, and separate bath tub and shower was awesome when you travel with another person. We were never in each other's space as we could go in one door and out another door. I could even do some work on my laptop on the dresser with doors closed thereby not bothering my partner in the middle of the night.We had several meals in their dining options - drinks and snacks at their rooftop bar, lunch and dinner at the ground floor cafe, and their awesome daily breakfast spread. Personal faves are the nutty brown rice milk and the creamy french toast.The location of the hotel is another major advantage. The Central Park is right across (and so you could go for a jog if one is so inclined), proximity to MTR access, and shops all around.

The service was exceptional - the people on the desk were friendly, welcoming and professional, with excellent English, and made a point of remembering my name and greeting me every time I went past. The staff at the breakfast were also great. The room was comfortable, spacious, stylishly designed and with good facilities. The location was right next to the station, so was well positioned for tourist routes around the city. The rooftop bar has great views. The hotel also provided a greeting and gift for my birthday, leaving a card in my room, which was a lovely touch. Thank you!

This hotel is excellent, dinner was very good, breakfast was top notch. Location is next to subway station and in central KaoHsiung. The rooftop bar was hopping when we were there and had cool views. Staff were incredibly friendly and

An excellent location and spacious rooms with first rate facilities. good breakfast and helpful staff. Kaohsiung is a great destination that you are certainly want to include in your Taiwan itinerary and the Hotel Indigo is a perfect base from where you can explore the main sites.

Great location, right of metro station. Easy to get to. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the daily happy hour on week days to unwind and relax in the lobby. The room was very big and the shower was amazing.Very quiet room, perfect for sleeping.

The thermostat in the room didn't actually control the room temperature. You can play with them but the room temperature stayed at around 22-23 degrees.

The description of the rooms is not clear at all. In Taiwan, it is common for hotels to have rooms without windows, but they clearly state in the name of the room that it does not have a window (like Standard King Room - No Window).I booked a Standard King Room which did not clearly state that it did not have a window. When I entered the room and realized this, I went to reception to express my complete surprise and despite the fact that on most nights the price difference between a room with a window and one without a window was minimal, I was asked for a considerable amount of money to change room. I was even told to take advantage of the room without window which is quieter.After 2 days of barely going to his room during the day because it felt like a prison and my 2 year old son couldn't sleep because he was still adjusting to the new time zone and the total absence of natural light didn't help him adapt, we decided to go to Taipei early. I asked for at least a partial refund for the last night we didn't stay (since it seemed to me that the hotel is largely to blame for the reservation being made in a room without a window, because it mentions on the main page details such as the room area, the wifi, the bathroom, but not the most important thing of all: THE ABSENCE OF A WINDOW) and I was refused, having lost all the money from that last night. It seems that there may be some interest of the hotel in not making this feature very clear to guests.Terrible experience, ruined 3 days of our holidays.
