Pillow is too high

The hotel is very well located right across Kaohsiung Station, making it accessible to the rest of the city. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, with separated toilets and showers (compared to usual hotel bathrooms).

The check-in process felt unnecessarily complicated as we were asked to scan a QR code to check-in online even though we provided our details at front reception.

The location was so good, the rooms were clean and the facilities provided were great.

The rooms are so small. Maybe a night stay or two can be advised. The breakfast was same everyday. There needs to be an improvement on that for sure.

Location is right next to Kaohsiung station, less than 5 minutes walk, so very easy to get to HSR, TRA, and MRT. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in process is done on your phone (convenient, but need to connect to wifi and may be difficult for older people).

The bathroom layout is not very convenient for 4 people as everything is in 1 room. It would be nice for the toilet, shower, and sink to be separated as with the deluxe double room. The shower was very slow to drain on some days, causing a lot of water on the floor in the bathroom after showers. Our room was on the 9th floor (top), but others in our party had a room on a lower floor, and could hear when chairs were being moved from upstairs.

They don't clean every day your room

Clean and comfortable, there’s also a laundry room for guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room faced the rail station, good view. The location is unbeatable! With windows closed and excellent air-co, the 5th floor room was none-the-less quiet. Nota bene: by design no carpet. Jean was so helpful!! Thank you :)

Selecting TV channels with the TV remote was a little sluggish.

The location is unbeatable, just across Kaohsiung Station, and love watching the view from the big windows in the room. The room is big, chic and clean. The bed is a bit hard for me.

I know it's not a 5-star hotel but it's not cheap though when compared to similar size hotels in Taiwan. However, one of the staff is a bit cold. Nothing wrong with her but just expected a more friendly environment.

Absolutely loved this the location was perfect. Just opposite the station. All the staff were great excellent! Jean( probably spelt incorrectly ) who was in reception was super helpful especially in helping me find places to eat with my dietary requirements. I wish I had stayed longer.

Nice location. Clean. Breakfast is not a buffet , it is local omakase serving.

Our room was near to the lift, and other rooms guess was keep chat and talking in the limited space infront of room door. It was disturbing late at night while I slept.

Great location, good value for money

The hotel is just across the Kaohsiung Main Station and surrounded by many restaurants and convenience stores. They clean the rooms and replenish toiletries everyday. The receptionists are very accommodating. They also have unlimited coffee and chips/biscuits in their lobby. Our family highly recommends this hotel property.

The hoteliers were charming and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. There is a laundry (but come with your own washing product). This is a place where I would like to come back.It is located close to the train station, but more than that, close to the subways. The place was not noisy.

Like in the 3 hotel (by 4) where I have been, I had to stop the air conditionner not to get cold. It does not work in heating mode.This is the only issue I have met.

Maggie the reception was awesome with helping me check in and answering any questions about the neighborhood. Really liked the look of the hotel. Right across from the metro station.

The dryer in the basement. It took almost 100 ndt to dry a small batch of clothes.

The room was clean and very spacious. The decor and room setup was also very tasteful. Hotel is located within 5min walk from the train station with many food options around the hotel.

Papo’a hotel is very conveniently located 5 minutes from the main station, the place is very nicely decorated and the staff friendly.The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The breakfast provided is différent from the usual buffet, the serve you a taiwanese meal, fruits and coffee is available whole day.

The room I stayed in had no Windows and Windows would have liked for it to be on the room description on booking

The hotel is located just a few minutes walking from the main station. The room was quite specious and very clean.You have to buy extra breakfast which is not a buffet but a taiwanese breakfast made by the lovely receptionist - it's really delicious and I would recommend getting it to try a Taiwanese breakfast.
