City Suites - Kaohsiung Pier2 Hotel

The hotel location is about 3 block [350 meter]of walking distance to the MRT station. Other than that, everything is great About the hotel. It is within walking Distance to Pier 2 Art district, the Room is clean, spacious, and updated.

Great location! Few minutes from the Pier.

Air handler is really musty, pretty normal for Taiwan but on the more smelly side. Also, rooms are a pretty tight fit.

A nice hotel. Clean and quiet. The staff are helpful and polite. The room was good. The Air Conditioner worked properly. The shower had hot water and the water pressure was perfect. I don't mind staying here. You can stay with kids. Very decent Locality.

The rooms are bit dull and gloomy. The don't have proper lights in the Bathroom. Bathroom has a face mirror but I can't see myself clearly because of the dim lighting. I don't know if it some fashion to have dim lighting

User friendly and convenient to the light rail and the harbor walkway.Walkway.. And enjoyed the coffee in the lobby, and the candies ?

Everything. The bed and pillows are really comfortable. The room does come with an excellent view. Staff is fantastic. Excellent location.

I like how near it was to the Pier. The facilities were clean and new. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom design and setup was great.

The walls were so thin that I could hear people talking and moaning from the rooms next to mine. The breakfast was in the older building and the food choices were not good. Also, the check in time at 3 PM is too late compared to most hotels that offer check in at 2 PM.

The location was perfect. The room was clean.

The room was really small. And it also was not soundproof. We can hear our neighbour. Didn't like how the toilet and the room were only separated by a glass door. The room was also a bit dark

The room was clean and nice enough for the price The location is good if you need to be near Pier 2, otherwise I suggest staying closed to the main station. The room had some issues:- the safe was not bolted or locked into the wall - the Wifi worked about 5% of the time I was in my room- The shower door opened inwards making getting in and out awkward - the walls are not very sound proof and I could the noises and conversations of other rooms The staff were generally friendly but when I asked about a spa service in the city and they misunderstood the request, they told me such services didn’t exist.

Good location, close to the pier art district. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Friendly staff.

The best part was definitely the location. The staff does speak a little bit of English as well.

The room was surprisingly small. Given the fact we chose two people, that room was definitely not for two adults.

Great location, nice decor and very clean

Good location by Pier 2 Art area with decent night market & shops on the weekend we were there. About 10min walk to Yanchengpu orange line & just a few minutes to the Dayi green line. There is a convenience store right next door. Decent sized rooms & clean although there was a slight musky smell when we checked in probably due to moisture from humidity. We left the air conditioning on & it was ok after a while. Apart from the art centre, the area is industrial so very little activity. Overall we enjoyed our stay which was sufficient for what we needed.

Very trendy rooms, liked the style a lot. Free coffee was also a plus as well as the location close to the pier.

Very nice design, amazing locations right next to the pier. The breakfast was a giant open buffet, very delicious!

After a long long long day of train travel from Alishan, this was the perfect place of comfort back at a lower elevation! The bed is more “regular soft” as opposed to many Taiwan hotels that tend to have much firmer beds. Very quiet, LAUNDRY, and the greatest staff! YouBike station right across the street is a real plus to access the entire area.

A bit lacking for good food in the immediate block the hotel itself is on, but that’s a minor issue given how close it is to the pier.

Very lovely rooms, small but had all you needed.

Our room had the fire escape equipment and a light for this exit above the window. This was almost as bright as the room light, except you are unable to turn it off.

Won’t visit again.

You can hear all the noise even you’re at level 8The ac is shit, outside the room were way cooler than our room in the morning. There was sparking at the power point when we plug in the hairdryer and hairdryer is very dusty. I can hear the room nearby us was making their bed or do the curtains! For the price we paid, definitely not worth it!

Very convenient location near Pier 2 and the mrt (can get from HSR, can easily get to the ferry for Cijin Island, can take light rail to other parts of the city or youbike). Clean, comfortable, easy check in, nice bathroom.

Not a problem but for your information there's no breakfast and a lot of the nearby cafes didn't open until 9am on Saturday. There is coffee available at the hotel though ?
