Kindness Hotel - Sanduo Shopping District Branch

My room was large enough and well equipped with storage space. In addition to breakfast, the hotel also provides a buffet dinner. A self-service laundry was available. The staff was helpful when I needed help or information.

A safe in the room would have been nice. A third elevator would have been helpful around peak times in a hotel of this size. Neither of this was a deal-breaker to me, I would be happy to stay at the hotel when I am in Kaohsiung the next time.

The thoughtfulness of the management. They thought about everything a guest would need or want. Free laundry, a good breakfast, 24 hr snack and drink and ice cream, supper with comfort food that’s good enough for dinner if you don’t feel like going out after a long day, umbrellas, filtered water dispenser on every floor, clean and bright room, lots of storage space in the room for slightly longer stay. N the list goes on. This is definitely a brand name to search for if we are looking for accommodation in Taiwan.

Sound proofing of the door. Noise from corridor. But that was only for 1 particular day when a whole troop of young students checked in and couldn’t hold back their excitement. They were running up and down the corridor and knocking on each other’s room. I am sure it was not a normal case in the hotel because all our other days were pleasantly quiet.

After finishing booking, they took all amount from my credit card and said it's only an guarantee that they wouldn't really take the money. But the amount would be released after a month! When I checked in, they charged again for "the real payment". It's one of the worst experience on guarantee. Mostly the hotel gives it back immediately while checking out.

the lounge was very nice and they let us use it after we checked out when waiting for our flight - this was awesome and much appreciated! it is close to the MRT. the food at breakfast and the midnight snack was very good. the staff were nice, but not as friendly as at some other Kindness hotels we have stayed at

the bidet didn't work properly and even after reporting it they didn't fix it. our room was a bit odd as it doubled as an emergency exit. we paid a premium price and didn't really have a premium experience

Zoe at the reception is excellent service. She tried to help us over and beyond.Everything, location, delicious food, snacks, and free generous dinner, especially ice cream, we enjoyed very much, free laundry & dryer, it is really meaning of the name of Hotel , KINDNESS

Offer a lots of food and drink complementary . Staff are very kind and helpful. Location is excellent!

Room is small with minimal closet. Space.. property is old.

Conveniently located within 10 minutes walk to the KMRT. Good breakfast selection and free flow of icecream, coffee and other drinks at the lobby cafe lounge provides one with an option to relax other than one’s room.

Keep repeating menu everyday though there are some changes. But for 5 days eating almost the same stuff can be a bit too much.

Nice place, convinient location. Hotel service was really nice, including a free 24/7 snack buffet and free parking.Good value for money, recommended!

The Wi-Fi was terrible! Especially at night! When streaming videos, it’s always cutting out. For a country with its technology available. It is shocking how bad the bandwidth is! Much improvement is needed!

Staff is friendly to deal with & it is a place I would return to stay again.

The Wi-Fi is horrible at best. Especially when watching YouTube! I am writing this now a the internet is completely Dow for the last 40 times tonight. If it could improve, it is definitely a winner, but the Wi-Fi brings the whol experience down.

Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed their snacks bar and supper bar. Great variety on breakfast. Launderette access is a great idea.

Room I stayed was clean and comfortable. Big screen television and channels selection were good enough for tourists. I enjoyed the late night supper and felt well.

Parking space was limited. Only 16

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff were exceptional and could not do anymore to make my stay enjoyable. The free ice cream coffee laundry and evening supper was an unexpected bonus

The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic - a good variety and much of it vegetarian which was great for us. The staff were all excellent. Would definately stay there again and would check out Kindness hotels as we carry on our travels through Taiwan. The location was good, a short walk to the metro.

Need more fruits with breakfast

Cozy room with long desk, bright enough lights and a lot of wall sockets. Electric toilet (washlet). Beds are comfy (firm enough). A supermarket and a convenience store nearby. Free bottled drinking water.
