- The location is ideal, walking distance from Formosa Boulevard Station and Liuhe night market ! The room and bathroom were very spacious and the view on the city was very nice.The staff is absolutely amazing, we forgot one of our belonging in the room after check-out and they made it so convenient for us to get it back by shipping it to where we were staying. I would definitely recommend Bamboo Hotel for your stay in Kaohsiung !

- The hotel was in a very sketchy, dirty building. The front desk staff was not friendly or helpful. They had posted a hand written notice at the front desk that said the front desk was closed on Sundays, so you cant leave your luggage there. This was a surprise to me. I booked a weekend trip and train back to Taipei leaving at 18:00, hoping to leave my luggage after check out, but my plans had to completely change because of their secret policy. When I asked if there was luggage locker storage nearby, the front desk man looked at me like "your problem, not mine" and said "i have no idea". I cant explain how angry I was at their lack of care or concern and lack of helpfulness in response to this ridiculous policy. Ive never heard of a hotel that the front desk is closed on Sundays. DO NOT STAY HERE. plus the room and hallways smelled like cigarette smoke.
