Good Hotel

Amazing. The "Queen" bed was huge, comfy and independant enough that my partner moving around didn't wake me up. Good view. Bidet toilet. Hot shared bath (gendered, not coed) next to the lounge. Super clean, lovely staff, great neighborhood.We were supposed to stay 2 nights, ended up staying 6.

It just opened so everything is new. They have gyms and free coffee although I didn’t have them.

When I was finishing my check in, the staff almost gave me the room card but he took back and said this is not for me. I remembered the room number on the card and thought that might be not for me. The staff said the room can only be provided after 3pm even if their room is ready. You could be totally flexible on this issue if you have your rooms ready. I have lived in other hotels in Taiwan but only this hotel does not allow me to get my room before 3pm even if they have availability.The location wasn’t too good. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to either closest subway station.

Clean just like japan. Food is very tasty too. Staff also very helping.

Nothing basically.1 i can think of is distance, far away from station, which is inconvenient for my parents.And didn’t provide toothbrush & toothpaste.

We had a great 4-night stay. The hotel and room were clean, and the staff were very friendly, making an effort to communicate despite the language barrier. We also appreciated the free breakfast and the hot bath (though we didn’t get to try it), which made the deal even nicer. Overall, a very good experience.

The bed was on the firmer side, with just two small but soft pillows. Breakfast options were a bit limited, though the coffee and matcha were excellent.

The location was good and employees were very friendly. This is very clean and good price.

The breakfast is so cheaper

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are great, it’s clean and excellent value for money. Close to main railway station.

Would stay again! The room was clean, beautiful, and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The sento/onsen is a nice touch!

The gym was tiny, but you can make it work if you're the only one in there.

Dirty, don’t stay

Rude front desk, very unwilling to be helpful when I inquired about mailing a package out of the country. There was mold in the grout of the showers. The pillows reeked of sweat.

The hotel was a bargain. It was about $800 to $1000 NT. I believe I stayed for 5 nights, so they may have given me a discount because I stayed multiple days. I liked the cleanliness, comfortable bed, staff respond quickly when I asked for towels, and they have a bidet toilet which makes it easy to clean yourself off about pooping. I had requested room service on the second day of my stay. The room service was not completed when I arrived back to my hotel (after 7 PM). I had to take my wet towels and garbage out myself. The hotel responded and gave me fresh towels and a new garbage. On the other days the staff responded in a timely manner. They offer a good breakfast. They offer free machine coffees, and at night fresh, sliced fruit. My room had a window with an insect screen. It helps to be able to look outside and get some sunlight. My view was not great. You can see the rooftop of surrounding buildings. It was eye opening. Many people living in Kaohsiung and the rest of Taiwan have a challenging life. In someways I am glad I got to see the good, the bad, and the ugly.

There was no breakfast available on the first day of my stay. I had a difficult time finding a place for a satisfying breakfast near the hotel. On the second day there was breakfast service. There was a wide variety to choose from. The portions were placed in tiny dishes. But you can take as many dishes as you like. Most the selection of the buffet were local Taiwanese. There is a McDonald's within a 15 minutes walk.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay. Very clean place with comfortable beds, nice staff, great Taiwanese breakfast, good location of the hotel near the train station and metro. A nice touch was the Dyson hairdryer in the room. Our reservation was edited without any problems. Thank you for your care and we recommend it.

I recommend expanding the possibility of hanging clothes on hangers.
