The hotel is nicely located and having the benefits of the 24 hours reception, with a very friendly staff behind the counter.The room is well equipped, with a classic hotel-room setting, and the location is walkway distance from the train station.

The hotel is old, and the air felt definitely damp and unpleasant. The older reviews mention smell of cigarettes, which wasn't present in the room, so they obviously tried to improve the air quality.I have seen room cleaning every day, but even as a very easy-going guest, I had difficulties to feel comfortable. The bed and bedding was clean, but the room could definitely use some deep cleaning, I even found leftover used plastic utensils in the drawer, and the toilet was leaking on the side too.When you book a room and the pictures show a small window covered with curtains, that won't necessary mean that it is window with sunlight, as mine was blocked from sunlight.

Convenient location. One block from the train station. Amenities: tooth brush, razor, shampoo, comb, coffee & tea, refrigerator. Clean the room everyday. Quiet and very clean. Receptionist 24 hours. Big t.v., wi-fi, air conditioning. Speak English. Check- out and check- in are better than other places. Very good value for the price.

Amazing location, right by main station and like a 17 minute walk from the huge Liuhe night market. Super cheap laundry, like $1 or so!

The man who works nights at the front desk was not welcoming or friendly at all. It didn't make me feel good to be there.But to be fair, he still did his job. Also, super thin walls, you will hear your neighbors extremely easily. But good value for money, who cares.

We were initially given a room on the 3rd floor, it had no window which was NOT listed on the room or its facilities when I booked, as I would never have booked a room without a window. It actually ‘City View’ on the listing but this was far from it. We also noticed the room had a really bad stench of cigarette smoke, as did a lot of the areas of this hotel. Given the lack of window to ventilate the room this was even bigger problem for us. They refused to move us that night stating the whole place was full which just was not true as we barely saw any other guests and this hotel has 7 floors with at least 10 rooms on each floor. I believe they just wanted us to go away and forget it. They then proceeded to take some machine and chemical spray to the room to ‘treat’ the smoke smell and promised me in 10 minutes the smells will be gone. We all know the smell of cigarettes can’t be treated in 10 minutes. Also it was concerning what chemical they were putting in our room when the room has no window so no access to natural air, so what we would be breathing in that night really worried me. As expected when we returned to the room the smoke smell was back. We reluctantly beared it that night and the next day we demanded a room change for our remaining 2 nights and compensation for the night we spent in that awful room. I want to emphasise that we had no idea we would get a windowless room, they clearly don’t state it and if you book a room here you stand a 50% chance of a windowless room as half of the building does not have windows.I want to mention that both the rooms we were given, the first windowless room and the second room with a window, were dirty and dusty. The bedding was not a fresh bright white it all had a look about it of discolouration and stains, like they are old and done in and not being washed enough. There were dead bugs and blood splats on some areas and it just felt all a bit gross.

Good location, a short walk to Kaohsiung Main Station. Close to shops, restaurants, and other facilities. Clean room.

No separation between the toilet area and shower area. Bathing towels look really old and overused.

The gentleman at reception was asking some very private and personal things which my partner translated from Chinese and told me.

Location is good. It's suite for who travel by UBUS or KMRT. It's located near Kaosiung Main Station about 10 minutes by walk. toiletry was prepared completely at the first time we checked-in. the woman staff is very kind and have good service mind. every room, there is a bath in the bathroom with hot water for relaxing your body.

communication with some staffs there would be hard with the language. for 3 nights staying, no cleaning day by day. if you want cleaning, you have to ask staff for it. inside hotel would be a little strong smell like there is some smoking smell in the air even if you may see "Don't smoking" stickers at the lobby and the elevator.

price is attractive with the location

too old, all the facilities are worn and there are small cockroaches in the room sound proof is really not enough, quite noisy from outside the window and the room next door

The location was good, it was about a 10 mins walk from Kaohsiung station. And the room is quite spacious. There was a bathtub even though i didnt use it haha. Although the place looks abit old, everything was quite satisfactory

There was a sewage smell form the toilet. Had to close the door when Im in the room. The toilet was clean, so i suspect the smell came from the drainage.

near to Kaohsiung Station, facilities are adequate.

The room had everything I needed. The front desk staff were helpful.

There was a ‘mosaic-ish’ window that let light in but it’s opaque and you can’t actually see through it, nor open it. The mini fridge can be a bit loud at night. Just minor things.

The room was spacious and clean, had all that I needed and the hot water dispenser was great! Good location but it's a 15 min walk from currently renovating Kaohsiung Main Station (TRA exit). Lots of bus stops pass by and close to the city's main attractions.

There were 2 cockcraoches in the room when I checked in. Wifi didn't work in some of the rooms and we had to change rooms.

though the building looks old but its clean, everyday they clean the room. And the staff are very nice and easy to approach.

for me the bathroom is a little bit dark.

The hotel is an average one...so no much is expected really. Close to other hotels just along the same street...train station is a 6 minutes walk...and bus stations such as Ubus its a 3 minutes walk.No restaurant service at the hotel so you can do uber eats or walk to near restaurants and 711 just closeby. The checkout time is perfect.

The staff are nice and location is good for travelers. it’s nearby the train station.

I saw previous guests’ garbage behind the fridge. Which means the cleaners cleaning is not that good.
