Hotel King'S Town

The staff were all very gracious and friendly. They made the stay at the hotel nicer.

The room was large and roomy but the furnishings are a little old and could stand some renovation. On the whole, a good value though.

Stayed 3 nights here as a family of 4 while we were in Kaohsiung. Great location near the MRT. It worked well to drop off and hold luggage when we arrived from the HSR. Comfortable room, great breakfast.

We loved the efficient, helpful staff. Can't rave enough about them, from the concierge, front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff, they were really helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The location was a big plus, too, very near the station, convenience store, banks, eateries etc. Bed and pillows very comfy, too.

ummm, building is old and no peephole on the door. But coming from an earthquake frequent country, old sturdy buildings that survives earthquakes and are standing strong are actually quite comforting. Plus, felt very safe throughout our stay, no need for peepholes.

The location is great as it's just a short walk from the station. There's 7-11 just downstairs and laundry shop just around the corner. We just take a brief walk to liuhe night market which is about 15-20minutes walk.

The hotel is not new, facilities is norm.

Superb location - adjoining Kaohsiung Main Station, with my room having a glorious night view of the station, being substantially redeveloped over recent years. Room was spacious, with usual Chinese style of robust, polished wood furniture and cabinet fittings. Bed clean and comfortable. 7-11 next door at ground level. Lobby staff exceptionally friendly and courteous.

Few power points, with hotel warning not to use inappropriate electrical appliances. Some drawers in desk shelf were glued shut.

Proximity to Kaoshiong station and the breakfast is decent.

It is getting a bit old and will require a refresh.

The location is very near to the kaohsiung main station, 7/11, uBike and Bank. Everything is very convenient, nice, clean, and staff are very helpful.

Nothing everything is beyond expectation.

The breakfast is good, staffs are friendly and location is very convenient to metro station.

The beds are a little bit noisy, you can hear your friends moving in the other bed.

The hotel is very old and outdated. They still use real keys to open room doors. The room smelled bad.

I like the room was big and clean. It provided everything you need during the stay.

Things were bit old such as the carpet and peelings on the wall.

Value. Good location. Clean. Triples and quadruples available. Shower was fantastic.

Old, hard beds for the double/queen beds. Twins were soft! Breakfast so-so.

I stayed here several times pre-Covid and was glad to return. Across the road from Kaohsiung station (undergoing reconstruction) it is handy to food options, metro to the airport and convenience stores. Large room, bathroom, bed and windows are still good if looking a little tired. Cleaning and desk staff are lovely. Chinese breakfast was included in a very good rate.

If you want a full western breakfast, this place is maybe not for you.

Breakfast buffet besides Asian options a bit limited. overcooked eggs, toast with butter and jam, and some fruit. Unless you like to eat French fries, noodles, veggies, potatoes etc. In the morning. Overall the hotel looked a bit dated, bathroom could use some maintenance.

The location near the railway station is ideal since the Kaohsiung MRT allows to travel comfortably to the main tourist sites of the town.

Very nice hotel in a comfortable position, a couple of minutes walk from the Kaoshiung train station and mrt station. The staff was very nice and the room very similar to the pictures. I'm very satisfied!
