Great location: a few steps from the river, the Kaohsiung Film Archive is on the other side of the river, the Pier and the Music Center are also very close.The hotel itself is fairly comfortable. It's strong point is actually the location.Staff is friendly, although not all of them can speak English.
Even though people are not supposed to smoke in the rooms, There was a strong smell of cold cigarette.
Nice room, free laundry machine, supportive staff even though they don’t speak English, they deliver breakfast to your room (although it’s all McDonalds food)
So good so welcoming…. They greet you with smile. The free breakfast and especially they clean the room everyday… it is so tidy. I love loved it. Will book again if my dad ever decide to visit Taiwan again

Too many thing to comment so I simplify it below in numbers.1. Bed bugs. My son and I was bitten at a few places.2. Hairs on bedsheets / quilts. Same like other comments. Where does all these hair comes from?3. Non-adjustable air conditioning unit. Cold!4. Some electrical switches are broken.5. Hair dryer switch was broken.6. The TV is damaged in bottom part, so we can’t watch it well.7. Google maps states “Free Parking”. This needs to change. There is no free parking.I stayed in room 303. Just in case the owner reads this and wants to improve.
