KW2 Hostel

1. Nice, unique, spacious individual rooms. 2. Very clean. 3. Pre-trip contact was very kind. They sent me photos and instructions. 4. Beautiful sea view.

1. Late check in / Early Check out entrance is extremely hard to find for local Uber drivers, taxis, and food deliveries. 2. The facilities turn dark (lights off) after 21:00, so you need to either find the kiosk yourself or ask the security guard to check in. 3. The only help you can get after hours is from the security guard, who has a master key that can open all the doors. There is no inner lock from the room. 4. The entrance is shared with anyone who works for the shopping mall before and after hours. There is a gate to enter the hostel area. You need a fob to open the gate. The Gate is far from secure. It is quite low and one can easily hopped over. I know that Taiwan is safe and we can trust the people there. However, if you are traveling by yourself your safety is everything.

no usb charger, at before you may tell us no tooth paste and brush...

Room can be too hot if aC is off or too cold with AC on. If there is an opening on roof, I can have room temperature without AC

Felt a bit isolated and seems like at the time no one was there at the warehouse at night. Little creepy ?

The place itself and the ambiance was absolutely nice. It's a good deal to book a room here and it's near many attractions. The price is justifiable with the quality of services and facilities. Clean restroom and kitchen. I will definitely book again if I travel back to Kaohsiung.

future of Hostel industry! Super convenient and clean. Free towels in unlimited amount. You can get with MRT and Light Rail!

The room and the view is amazing, the bed is comfortable, youbike docks right at the back of the building, lots of restaurants downstairs, and the whole ambiance is just so unique and well thought out, the staffs are also great!

room and toilet were clean. common area was well equipped with utensils and a working fridge. overall the open space concept was very nice and it was an extremely comfortable stay

had some issues with the self check-in kiosk and was unable to reach the staff for a while but it was later resolved

Fairly good staff, clean, good hot water, kitchen available with hot water for tea. Once found, location OK for ferry port.

Poor, inadequate, and confusing instructions for arrival. My taxi driver was freaking out since this is in a warehouse mall without a clear address. AC in tiny room uncontrollable. Had to turn it off. Bed on floor, hard and with crunchy sounding heavy linens. Overpriced for sure.

Facilities were clean with great aesthetics (if you love Muji), view was spectacular).

Location, HOSPITALITY!!!Despite having great facilities, service was so disappointing, making this my worst hostel experience.My flight was delayed and unfortunately I ended up arriving very late. The hostel is inside a mall by the pier, so location-wise, I would not recommend this to solo female travelers arriving late or who love nightlife.Once I arrived, despite having all my payment details, the hostel demanded (over the speaker because the front desk was unmanned) that I still pay because they had only taken the "deposit." Unfortunately, their card machine was not working (it wouldn't read any of my cards, and only their wireless function was working). I asked if we can sort this out tomorrow morning (it was 1 am), but NO. If it weren't for the kind security guard who offered to swipe his card if I paid him cash, I would've never been able to check in. THEY REFUSED TO LET ME IN!!!! Finally, I was able to get in, but by that time, it was 2 am...This morning, I went to ask about wifi and towels because there were no instructions in the room (at least not in English, Korean, or Japanese). The front desk should be open at 9 am, but it is 9:20 am now, and no one is there or answering my calls...I am yet to see a staff member here in person after checking in.I had less than 24 hours in Kaoshiung, and most of it has now been wasted because of the frustrating communication and service.

Noise before 22:00Need to use card to access public toilets. Which is inconvenient.

The view was amazing, and the room was big enough for one person. Very cozy and peaceful. Cute shops selling more artsy products were on the same floor so that was an interesting viewing.

As many mentioned, it was slightly noisier due to its location above the mall but I didn't mind. Would advice light sleepers to bring ear muffs to cancel out the noise for better sleep.

Struggled to get into the building...wasn't aware of where the showers were...rooms extremely uncomfortable...NO space to move around!

the room and environment is clean and the equipment is in good condition. I can enjoy my sea view quietly. :)

The place is clean, with convenient and wide variety of food and things to buy just downstairs. There is a good amount of privacy since the doors are locked using a key card.

It can get a bit noisy in the early mornings and late nights when people are coming back to the hostel or when the stores are preparing for their day. But it's not a deal breaker at all!

View, showers, perfect to board the new ferry to Penghu in the morning. Super clean.

Not sound proof, airconditioning settings are problematic because the air blows on you as you sleep.

The interior design is stunning for a hostel and the whole trip was relaxing as I was staying next to the pier. I had enjoyed the sea view so much and spend hours at it. The staff was very nice friendly

The concept is really cool, having your own "room" facing the view over Cijin Island. The bathroom is really convenient, the shower is a room where you have your closed door shower and the space to hang out your clothes or change without being wet ! The common area is big enough. The guy at the reception is really helpful and speaks english. The location is amazing : nearby the tram, the metro and the ferry port.

I would appreciate to have some toilets for the hostel only, we have to share them with all of the warehouse visitors. The system of locking doors to separate the residents and the visitors is not that convenient. We should have the whole part of the warehouse for the hostel. For the price, we could have more stuff to be provided such as toothbrush, cotton etc...

First floor is a little market, super convenient, Have a lot of restaurant. Location is good.
