Will NOT coming again

The water in lobby is sour and bad cap, not flash at all.Employees service is bad, when asking stuff they keep asking some nonsense questions.

The rooms are beautiful.

Staff members are really untrained and not fit to serve western clientele. Food was disgusting, yet prices were high. They need to hire western cook. I found a black hair in my soup as well.

everything was really perfect, starting from the moment we were welcomed at the front door until we left the hotel. Staff very kind, room very clean, swimming pool perfect to swim and to let children to play

the organization of the breakfast, the request to book the time was not following to the possibility to enter in the breakfast area but we had to wait.

the breakfast selection is wonderful and the staff very effective and friendly.the swimming pool, jacuzzi and hot pool are also very good.

in the swimming pool showers, it takes a long time for the hot water to reach the faucet..

The location is excellent, just a few blocks away from MTR station, so anywhere is easily accessible. The hotel is clean and staffs were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, they make dumplings and local delicacies when you order. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Kaohsiung!

Very attractive furnishings, spacious rooms with view, extra attentive and helpful staff. Pool is a decent size with hot tubs and sauna too.

Great AI to control lights and other features. Shame it didn’t understand my accent.

View from the room is very nice. Great location - with a few minutes walk from the MRT station and to the river side. The well-designed city library is right next to the hotel too. Breakfast is marvelous: a wide range of choices, especially perfect for who is eager for taiwanese cuisine.

Very modern and clean. Loved the bathroom with separate toilet & free standing bath tub. Breakfast buffet was very nice.

We’re not able to check in at 2:40pm.. sat down for a drink/snack and only got the room key at 3:15pm. Not acceptable for an Intercontinental.Wanted to sit at a table in the lobby restaurant (Seed?) but waiter told us every single table we pointed to was reserved. Finally asked him if there are any available or was it just the bar seats and he finally confirmed that was the case (instead of just telling us at the beginning?)

Great location, attentive and helpful staff, spacious room with great views, spotless clean. High quality amenities were provided. We arrived with a rental car, parking was easy and secure in hotel's own garage. Convenience stores, restaurants and fully-fledged shopping malls within short walking distance. Hotel's own bakery looked delicious, wanted to try, but we ran out of time. In sum, everything was great, highly recommend and would definitely want to come again.

Great location! Superb service! Facilities is the best among all the hotels i stayed in Taiwan! The combination of bath and city view is unwatchable. There is also complimentary beer. It deserves the reputation as the best in Kaohsiung for sure!

Location was very good, serving persons were very helpful and easy to communicate.

Equipments are modern and clean, but too many buttons for lights or curtains annoyed us a little bit, not knowing which one to push. You have several drawers but most of them were occupied with hotel amenity and so on, so it was difficult to put our own cloths. The bath towels were too large and too heavy, which was not very convenient to use.

Waited in long line for check in for almost 30 minutes. The check-in staff had a bad attitude and not friendly at all.

Everything went well until Friday(28JUL) evening. When we came back after dinner, the parking was full. Then I stopped at the spacious front of the hotel, sitting in the car after drop off my 87 years old parents. I ask the concierge if I could wait there for the parking space and hope they could do some arrangements in the typhoon night. (As I knew the parking spaces were occupied by the dinning customers and that will soon be available.) Unfortunately, she said "No" and offer me to park at the outdoor parking across the street. I did not accept the offer because the parking is not convenient especially in typhoon days. Then I tried to ask the help from her supervisor. Her supervisor came and appeared to be impatient, said I could block the passage if I stop there and my car could be hit by fallen tree. I told him the passage was so wide even two cars can pass at the same time and fallen tree could hit my car if I parked at the outdoor parking across the street. Also I could be in danger when I walk back to Hotel. He then became impolite and urge me to leave. Fortunately, there was a car coming out from the underground parking, so I rush down and stop argue with him. Actually, this unhappy experience can be easily avoid by just asked me to lineup and wait for the parking. Of course, I was expect more help from a 5 star hotel service, such as arrange me a space to stop and inform me when the packing become available. Obviously, the concierge supervisor was not trained to be a 5 Star hotel concierge, needless to say a supervisor in concierge.

We were required to wear swimming cap otherwise not allow to use the swimming pool. hotel should remind us n advance. Many hotels do not have such requirement…

The facilities in this hotel are elegant, it gives us relax feelings.

The 3 rd night we stayed (3th of August), the room wasn’t cleaned by hotel, just because I hanged up the green saving sign. The green saving is for the customers who are willing to cooperate with hotel not to change towels or bed sheets (can be reused) every day in order to save the water or energy. But hotel didn’t do anything, they didn’t remove the garbage and wastes, whole room smelled very terrible, the bath room are fulled of hairs, very dirty. As a 5 stars hotel, this can not be accepted. The definition of green saving was misunderstood by this hotel and they are just far away from the other 5 stars hotels worldwide. Meanwhile I complained to the receptionist about this bad feelings, but she answered me, hanging up the sign means do nothing in the room, but the customer can get a point from their hotel????I don’t care how many points I received from saving drops of water. The reason why I did it, just because I want to save water and energy. If according to her reply, I should receive money back, because no body in this hotel cleaned my room. The deposits of accommodation is also too high if compare to other same level hotels. they charged me NTD 45000 with signing my name by credit card, the fee of my accommodation is just NTD 28876, I don’t understand, what is the reason for this hotel to charge so high? When I checked out, I asked to renew my bill, the receptionist she doesn’t clearly understand, the huge, big difference of accommodation fee brings me a very uncomfortable financial doubt, which I never experienced in my past 30 years traveling experience worldwide. Or, they assumed the customers will steal their things? No trust, a very bad feeling. This hotel should receive higher recommendation from me, but the unprofessional receptionist made me have hesitation to do that. If I didn’t bring out those problems, it can’t be changed and continue to be like this way.

Rooms were very clean and bed was plush and comfy. Blackout curtains were also amazing and did not let in any light at all.
