Nightmare at MGM

My partner and I were woken up at 5am by the lack of air con, and couldn't go back to sleep. When we left the hotel room at 8:30am, I called front desk, and left a clear message to have the air con fixed. I returned to the hotel at close to 11pm, and walked into a very warm room, though the thermostat reading was 18.5 degrees C. So I called the hotel front desk manager, who arrived with housekeeping staff, who brought along a handheld thermostat at my request. It showed a room temperature of 26.5 degrees Celsius. The staff ended up having a heated argument with us, claiming that they did what was required. No apologies whatsoever. After 30 minutes, we were offered either an upgrade, or have an engineer over to fix the air con. It was 11:30pm, and we had a long day. We were utterly disappointed with the service, and the defensive attitude of the staff. We were not prepared to pack up and move to another room at close to midnight, when we would be checking out the next morning. In the end, we checked out and left at midnight. The manager unshamefully reminded us that since we booked through Booking.com, there would be no refund. I requested an email as a record of the incident. Until now, we have not heard back at all.

It’s modern and comfortable. The staff are polite and helpful.

Everything is good except the breakfast. There’s a great space for improvement.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at MGM Macau hotel and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The room size was spacious, clean, and provided a relaxing atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. One of the best things about the room was that the mini bar was included, which was a nice added bonus.I would also like to extend my appreciation to Yannes, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service during my stay. When we realized that we had left some important documents in the hotel room after we had already departed and arrived back in Hong Kong, we were worried that we would not be able to get them back in time. However, due to the importance of the documents, courier companies were unable to accept the order. That's when Yannes stepped in and offered to deliver the documents back to us personally from Macau to Hong Kong.Yannes was a true professional and her dedication to providing outstanding service was unmatched. She communicated with us effectively and kept us updated throughout the entire process. Her willingness to go the extra mile to help us out was truly appreciated.Overall, my stay at MGM Macau was a wonderful experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The combination of excellent facilities and exceptional service, particularly from Yannes, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you, MGM Macau, for a fantastic experience!

location is convenient to old town, room is spacious

room is getting old and not matching premium room pricing. little feeling on premium room service v.s las vegas MGM two bed room staying experience. staffs seemed too relax and no mindset of proactive helping although all seemed polite per standard. overall it seemed the hotel is lacking professional management and no any supervisor to stay on top of the service delivery, in particular for guest who booked premium room.

The breakfast is good.

Because of COVID pandemic, the breakfast was packed to the room for serving. Lots of plastic boxes were used. Not environmental friendly

The staffs in MGM Macau are so nice and professional, from check in to departure, they take care us so much. I didn’t mentioned I was coming with family but they just surprise me to set up those kids amneity in room after return back from dinner. the lion wa so cute and absolutely will come back again & recommend to my friends. The room is big and clean.

Amazing swimming pool, very quiet and peaceful. The room is big and has a wonderful view. Aux Beaux Art food is great and the Pastry Bar is excellent. Steven at check in, Jack at the pool and Pic at the spa are very kind and accomodating.

I need of better pillows (too high). I know I am being picky but I slept really bad and nowadays most top noch properties have a pillow menu. There isn´t a breakfast buffet and we did not like the set menu at the room. Only later I discover we could choose other options other then the set menu (such as egg benedict and french toast) which were great. So in need of improving communication there. But these are just little things.

Great location, staff are helpful and polite, pleasant stay.
