Great location, nice shower

Too many beeping things in the room has cool electronics but many are not fully functional or are difficult to use. Room never serviced, no new towels, and limited hours for us to get our own towels from the front desk because the staff was gone by 7 p

The hotel location is the BEST! It is right next to the Night Markets, and Lagoon and a lot of restaurants on the Esplanade. It is also only a couple blocks from the Reef Terminal. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are big with your own washer/dryer.

They did not have a night clerk. So, the front desk staff leaves at 7pm nightly. Not a big deal. We had an early flight and so just checked out the evening before.

Rooftop abandoned, a missed opportunity.

LOCATION, location, location! Property is steps away from the night market and a short walk to the pier where the tours go out for the Great Barrier Reef. Loved strolling along the esplanade morning and night. Close to countless restaurants and stores.

WiFi was spotty in the room

Great location and friendly staff. Parking was a great bonus, safe and secure. Modern room with all you need for a week plus stay.

Room could have been a bit cleaner (AC filters cleaned or changed), dust/dirt on the walls.

Everything - excellent location, spacious apartment, clean and very comfortable.

Staff were friendly, the apartment was spacious and the pool was enjoyable. The bed was comfortable.Note: there is an A/C unit but it is in the lounge room only, the bed is a little further away but there is a fan to keep the room cool.

Furnishings are dated and, while functional, feel sparse and bare.

Great location, very close to the esplanade, lagoon pool, Woolworth and to many great restaurants. The hotel/resort is cosy and our apartment was modern and new. The pool area is lovely and the pool is nice and warm. Will try to stay there again.

nothing. the only thing it could have was a manual for the automatic toilet to switch off the toilet seat heating and explain the various functions but it wasn't a real problem

Good location close to lagoon and esplanade. Night markets next door provided good meal options and convenience. Did not use pool but had room overlooking nice pool and barbeque area. Room was large for two and with separate bedroom provided space for both of us.

Bathroom included washing machine and dryer, which is OK but warning signs on wall and in kitchen advising that smoke alarms are sensitive and may set off calling fire brigade at our expense. This made us reluctant to cook or use dryer.

Very clean, bed comfortable and friendly staff. Great location.

It is very well located. The property is close to everything. The pool was heated which was great. It was clean. The room was very comfortable. Microwave and a couple of hotplates for cooking. There was a washing machine also, although I did not need to use it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was quite happy with the property

Room was very nice and roomy with nice furniture the kitchen was good. Overall the room was a little tired though but OK for the price. The pool was nice and the hotel / apartment was in a great location in the downtown area right next to the night markets.

The bed was very hard / uncomfortable. and there's a fair amount of street noise although the street noise was bearable.

The apartment was in an excellent location and was central to everything.Margaret at reception was really helpful and helped enormously with making our stay at Ill Palazzo very enjoyable.
