Some of the walls are showing wear and tear. The plantation shutters aren't compelling for privacy.

Our room was directly behind the restaurant and very noisy- sounded like a generator all night. Bed was very hard. Breakfast chef was bad

Photos and stars were deceiving. Hotel is comparable to a 2/3 star hotel in the US, nothing like a resort. Rooms are small and dated, no wifi accessibility in the rooms. Looking back we would've spent the extra to stay in the DoubleTree across the street.

The location is great, in walking distance to the waterfront. The room was clean and aircon very cool thankfully in the heat of Cairns.

We have stayed at Ramada venues many times but this property really lets the brand down. It is in need of a major renovation. No greenery around the pool area, just lots of concrete and the pool is very exposed to the road and the driveways and car parks. No wine glasses, cutlery or plates in the room. We came to stay for my birthday and because Cairns was so hot we chose to stay in the room to have a nice glass of bubbly and finger food. We had to ask Reception for wine glasses and a knife. The only glasses they had were the size of fishbowls - not great for bubbly. Every other Ramada venue we've been in has these as standard in the room.

Good location clean comfortable bed and easy check in and out.

I found it a little noisy in the afternoon/evening didn’t have sound proof however luckily the noise didn’t continue too long/late.

Arrived late and were met by a confident cheerful reception staff. Found rooms clean and tidy with standard amenities on hand. Comfy beds and well located to eatery's, we a very pleasant stay - Happy to recommend to all.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the new pool looks amazing.

The only thing which is difficult is the parking, especially if you have a large car. Is it possible to get a pass to park in the street without getting fined?

Good location, room was clean and pleasant.

Room needs curtains to lower the light coming through for a better sleep.Didn't like the bath over the shower, it was quite high to step over so not great if you are elderly.Also the tap converting from bath to shower wouldn't stop dripping, that was annoying.

old room, found cockroach on the wall, i requested room on high floor, given the ground floor near the main road.

We had a ground floor and was easy access and not far from the hospital
