Heritage Cairns Hotel

Location was great, staff easy to talk to. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was so nice to sleep on . Years ago I use to live in flats at this address

Modern, clean, tidy, walking distance to the city centre. Wonderful experience

quiet hotel, room door closed very quietly(a rare thing in most lodgings), friendly staff, stored my luggage, adjustable shower head. wish I had stayed here longer instead of trying to save some money at one of the backpackers for the rest of my stay.

there were pieces of nuts on the seat of the desk chair, missed by the cleaners I guess. the hallway decor looks old, eg stucco on walls. nothing major.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Recent renovations and focus on great quality beds and excellent shower facilities.

All pretty good.

Location is great, just a short work down the Esplande broadwalk to town centte. Provided parking was secure and accessable even with a high 4wd. Room was very clean a tidy woth a comfortable King bed.

I would only be nit picking to say anything.

I've stayed here a few times, mainly for the location and the spa bath. The bed is comfortable with good pillows and staff friendly. Good secure parking.

The room could be cleaner. Dust in the corners and the wall by the bed looked like someone had thrown a cup of coffee at it.

Staff were very lovely and helpful. Made my late check in a breeze. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was decent and it was a reasonable price.

Worst hotel ever

Unfortunately this is the worst hotel I've ever seen. We got to our room and immediately saw at least one huge cockroach. We complained to the front desk and were offered another room which was extremely dirty and below any expectations. We left after 20 minutes to find another accommodation.

Bright and clean. Friendly staff.

Lack of signage out the front which I believe is temporary. Google maps takes you to back gate with no signage either.None of this affected the quality of the stay.

Location was good with minimal walking to get to esplanade and restaurants.

The shower was nasty with mildew, probably due to no fan in bath. Furniture was old, stained.

Front desk staff were awesome. Awesome location.

Rooms need a little revamp

Very friendly and polite staff at reception, good size room with air conditioning and comfortable bed, large shower. Beach towels available to borrow at reception. Only a short walk to the marina for catching boats to the Great Barrier Reef and relatively close to restaurants etc. Good value for money.

The advertised swimming pool is very small, but the lagoon pool is only a short walk away. Some small cosmetic defects in bathroom and on fridge, but nothing major.

Staff were friendly and helpful.Position to city, esplanade, and hospitals within walking distance.A budget hotel, not many amenities but suited our needs.Both single beds comfortable.

Our room was on 3rd floor opposite the elevator, only stayed for one night on way to Port Douglas. It was within walking distance of the railway station and rental car company. We arrived later than the normal checkin time, front desk lady was helpful. In evening walked to the touristy area found a restaurant within four blocks, then another couple of blocke to the pool area. Therefore everything we needed for a short stay was walkable.

This was a reasonably priced property and in this context there were no dislikes.

Friendly reception and always very clean and comfortable bed.

It is an older motel and I feel the price has gotten a lot higher, but nothing has changed or been upgraded in many years.

Easy street parking. Easy unloading luggage with a drive way. Easy late check in with security.
