Noise from 2nd floor above our ground floor roomThe bathroom is totally inadequate. Too small, extremely difficult to open and shut bathroom door.The shower door was like a tiny tunnel entrance , to get in and out of the shower was very very difficult.

The room size was decent.

Felt tired and run down. Hallways were exceptionally hot. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Restaurant was closed due to renovations but they did send us across the road for our included breakfasts.

Staff excellent so helpful and nice updates you have made. Have stayed at this hotel many times when it was another company and it has improved from before. I will be back.

Overall we found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the room very clean and comfortable. For us the location was excellent, close to shops and the esplanade. We found the hotel and area quiet at night.

The only downside was the lack of storage area for your clothes. For example, the addition of bedside cabinets with drawers could have utilised that particular wasted space.

Air conditioning was not working and restaurant closed. Did not know until we checked in. This should have been communicated.

The room was large enough to cater for our family - giving everyone the privacy that they needed. Staff were friendly. The accommodation was centrally located and an easy walk to the board walk.

My husband suffered from hay fever that night - maybe the room was dusty or sheets were?

Tiny bathroom, shower door 350mm wide !!hard bed, floor uneven in 1 room , traffic and people noise from street was terrible, staff were not very friendly, no car parking

Room was dirty. Black mould all over the walls near the bed, peeling paint and strong mould smell throughout the room. We couldn’t sleep in the bed for the stench and mould on the wall next to it. Shared the dirty old couch.

Family room , it was good to have separate room for our kids but still with us

Location, our room was next to street, out of 5 nights 3 nights couldn’t sleep due to people shouting outside in the middle of night and people living upstairs banging on floor at 11pm every single night, basically thin walls and no noise barriers. Not restaurant , no breakfast on site, had to go out or buy .

The beds are super comfy! Huge rooms that were clean and well positioned.

Very close to the cbd and esplanade. Reception staff were lovely. Pool area was great.Room was good. Beds very comfortable.

Not a lot of room to get into the bathroom. Found it quite difficult to close the door. Floor in the room could've been cleaned more by the time we left it was quite dirty. Mini bar items could've been less so as you could fit other items in their, no space in the door of the fridge to store milk etc. Would've been lovely to have had a drink beside the pool but was closed due to no fault of their own.

Restaurant closed.Car park closed.Only informed of the above after it was too late to cancel.Single glazed windows meant lots of traffic noise from the busy street.Rooms were a bit tired and dated.
