Clifton Sands Holiday Units

Good, quite and cozy location and feel only about 2 minutes from the beach. Apartment was fully furnished including two AC units and clothes washer and dryer. The reception, Hotel employee, is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

Humidity in the area was very much present inside the unit unless AC was constantly running

Plenty of room. Location was off the main path of all other resorts. We liked that. Had a washer and dryer. Host was very helpful!

Quiet neighbourhood 1 block away from beautiful beach well away from the hubhub of town. Great amenities close by (good grocery store, butcher shop, bakery and gas station). Comfortable rooms and bed. Full size fridge. Super helpful+friendly manager!

Simple but very clean and comfortable, self contained unit type accommodation. Very good value for money with a restaurant across the road and the beach just 5 minute walk from the unit. The unit was ground floor with easy access which would suit those with mobility issues or a wheelchair.

The bottom bed sheet was a little small and kept coming out from base of bed. More light is needed near/in the shower alcove. Really small things really. Google maps kept directing me to the top of the road to other accommodation.

Perfect size for a couple, very spacious and clean. Quiet location and short walks to the beach. We were on the first floor.

The bed was very very hard. Don’t know about the other apartments. There is no coffee shops or van in the area. Internet wasn’t good.

Nice and comfortable apartment in a quiet location near the beach.

Got locked out of the unit one evening because the keys didn't work and the reception had to get a locksmith in to fix.

Perfect little spot. Loved walking down the beachfront and through little bush walk to Palm Cove each morning to get a coffee (about 1hour walk but lovely, especially in the morning at sunrise or nighfall). Great location around the corner from the beach, restaurant, and tennis court next door. On main bus route (daily pass for Zone 5 is $9.60AUD) so you can easily access the local Coles supermarket and shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and swimming spots down at Palm Cove and across to the next bay at Trinity Beach (would recomend Trinity Beach spot as it is semi shaded in the afternoon). Parking on-site or free street parking all around. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable with a nice bed, crisp white linen and towels, and well stocked full kitchen - has everything you need. Would recommend the bottom floor so you can extend out onto the back paint and garden. Staff lovely, no fuss and let you get on with things.

When I visited, it was stinger season (jellyfish, from November-April) so there were no netted safe ocean swimming spots near by. There is one 15min walk north up the bay, but it is only open on weekends. Need to travel to the lifeguarded netted spots at Palm Cove or Trinity Beach to swim. Can easily access if you have a car (plentiful free parking in both spots) or via bus. Can also walk to Palm Cove, but would not recommend in mid-day heat as it is a 1 hour walk - only in early morning or night when it is cooler.

The place was immaculate and spotless. It is conveniently located close to the beach. Linda, the host, has been incredibly kind and helpful. She helped me to organize few activities as there was a disruption of the usual options as a result of the cyclone. I felt like at home as her knowledge of Italian is stunning.

It was a very nicely decorated apartment that had a homey feel. Apartment was spotlessly clean. Lovely lady by the name of Linda is the manager.

The aircon in the bedroom did not blow cold air. I was disappointed because I had specifically booked accommodation because my mum's spare bedroom did not have aircon and I was dying in the heat. Luckily, the aircon in the living room worked well. I kept the bedroom door open and blasted the fan and I was able to get cool enough. Air con filters were also desperately in need of a clean. Very thick with dust etc.

Clifton Holiday Units is a perfect place to stay, It is super clean with all the facilities including, even a washing and drying machine :) in front, there is a restaurant bar if you want to have lunch or dinner. Linda who is the person in charge is a super beautiful and kind person.

The location was great for us. It was quiet but within walking distance to Palm Cove if we wanted. Everything we needed, was within walking distance.

The only thing I would say, is the bathroom Floors were not very clean and hope the cleaners are not pulling the wool over the lovely land Lords eyes as she was absolutely wonderful.

My host was very friendly and helping. The appartment is very nice, the view is nice, not even too much noise because of the works near by. Perfect. And thank you.

Great little unit with everything you need in a perfect location. We loved our stay at Clifton Sands. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect spot next to the beach with a fabulous restaurant across the road. Easy walk to Palm Beach.
